Nice place but not the luxury home I expected

Place was fine but much smaller than it looked in the photos. Pool is constantly in the shade so freezing. Pool fountain wasn’t working. Can in the main bedroom wasn’t working. Place was dusty and sand on the floor when we arrived. Good range of equipment in the kitchen. But overall I was disappointed. From the photos, description and price I was expecting something much better. Owner was very helpful though and easy to communicate with.

Great place for family who wanted to avoid the resorts

The property was ideal for us as a family of 4 that wanted to be relatively close to the town and beach but not wanting to stay in a resort. In addition, a 2 minute walk to 4 mile beach made it ideal for lazy evening strolls. Although we had a hire car, we also made use of the local taxi minibus service that arrives within just a few minutes of calling. All in all a very tidy and convenient property. Would thoroughly recommended.

We loved staying in Wendy’s place. It was so relaxing and quiet and an easy drive into Port Douglas. The house included all the necessities for a weekend away with the added bonus of a pool!

We had a very enjoyable holiday at Watermark. Very well equipped for 6 people. Myself and my fiance travelled with another couple and their 2 kids which the layout is great for. Upstairs had separate bathroom/ensuites and downstairs was open plan and brought everyone together in one space. The kitchen and living area have bifolding doors that open onto the pool and BBQ area which is surrounded by tropical gardens and trees. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Port Douglas.

We had a lovely stay at Watermark 3. The staff and rental process could not have made things easier. The living furniture could really use an upgrade (showing a lot of wear and tear) which was a bit disappointing for the price. Otherwise the place is great for a relaxing stay up the quiet end of 4 mile beach.
