"Simple but ok hotel for a one night stay before getting on the ferry. Room smelled a little musty. Very clise to the Black Ball ferry terminal."

"The mountain and water views were spectacular! The hosts were also fantastic! Super-friendly, very respectful of our privacy but most definitely available for questions and suggestions for things to do. Also, every room had so much thought put into it that whenever we looked for something, we found it right where we would have put it. It really is a very well-thought out design. All this and the price was very reasonable. We are most definitely going to return there!"

"We had a wonderful experience at the painted lady. The location was great for accessing Olympic National Park and Victoria BC. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub and views were spectacular. We would recommend the property for anyone interested in enjoying the Olympic peninsula. "

"Terrific place to stay! So cute and comfortable. Easy walk from the ferry and restaurants. Great location to explore Olympic National Park. Super clean and the hosts have clearly gone out of their way to make sure you have everything you might need. Separate thermostat in each room, so great if you prefer a cooler bedroom amd warmer kitchen. The shower is a step in clawfoot, so would be difficult for those with mobility issues. "
