Looking for a coastal getaway? Come visit the Jewel of Port Royal!
The home is equipped with high speed wifi, so if you work remotely and/or are home schooling, you don't have to miss school or work!

Located in the Old Village of Port Royal less than a mile from the Sands Beach and Boardwalk, this beautifully appointed spacious home comfortably sleeps 8. Features include large light and bright living, dining and kitchen area with high cathedral ceiling, back screened porch, and open front porch. Home also features 2 first floor bedrooms (one with 1 King bed and one with 1 Queen bed) and 2 full bathrooms. 2nd floor features 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed, 1 single bed, 1 futon and a full bathroom.

The Great Room features a large flat screen TV. There are smaller TV's in each of the three sleeping areas. Rest and relax in this tastefully appointed home which includes beautiful bedding, towels, and all the dishes, pots, and pans you will need.

Within walking distance is the Cypress Wetlands Nature Preserve, which features nature trails and a boardwalk right over the water. This nature preserve is home to various local wildlife, including several species of birds, turtles, alligators and more. Catch the sunrise just a short walk to the Sands Beach and listen to Marine Recruits singing cadence just across the river.
Port Royal is also home to various year round festivals. During the spring and summer there is live outdoor music every other Saturday night on Paris Ave, the main street in Port Royal. Bring your chair and dancing shoes and enjoy the free entertainment!

Located less than a mile from the house at the Heritage Park on Ribaut Rd is the Port Royal Farmer's Market. The market is open year round every Saturday morning from 9 am - 12 pm and features fresh local produce, baked goods, locally raised meat, fresh caught seafood, plants, hot meals, and much more!

We had a great long term stay testing out the “snowbird” life. The house was perfect! Allowed us a great home away from home. Many things to do in the area & returning each day to Port Royal gave us the small hometown feel we love!

Great little house for a family to stay while in town for USMC graduation. It was a short drive to Parris Island. The house fit 7 adults and a child perfectly. It needs a good cleaning but other than that I recommend it. Much better than separate hotel rooms!

Overall, convenient to Parris Islands (Marine base). Clean and most needs are met. However we left behind 3 item's, 2 of which were very important but we didnt realize being new Maribe parents and it being such a hectic schedule. It was pretty upsetting that the cleaning crew/owners did not reach out after cleaning and ask if we realized we left behind military issued gear. We could've came back for it or had it shipped. Instead we are just another form of income. I would've paid top dollar to have my sons gear sent home but we didnt realize until he was headed to Camp Geiger. I messed up, being the adult to see what was brought from base but human decency could've saved so much grief. People just need to look out for one another and this specific place didnt even care. My Marines little brother also lost a necklace in the couch and again it means nothing. Little things mean a lot. Be more responsible and make sure you dont overlook ANYTHING.

The house was clean, comfortable, and we loved sitting on the back porch. It had everything we needed for the months stay. The area was like no other place we stayed. It is a quaint quiet area that reminded me of Mayberry with beautiful front porches and sidewalks to walk on throughout the town. We so enjoyed the wetland area also. We highly recommend the Smokehouse delicious with their have large servings and reasonably priced. This is a place I would love to call home in the future.

10 minutes from Parris Island. Easy on/off the base. Quiet neighborhood. Clean. Spacious. Screened in back porch was a blessing. We slept seven adults with no problems and without using the couches.

We stayed for our oldest Sons Marine Corp Bootcamp Graduation. The place was so cute and plenty of room for my husband and I, our other three teen children, and the grandparents. It was close to the base and in a nice quiet neighborhood. We walked to the nature trail one afternoon and got to see an Alligator! My only feedback was it wasn’t as clean as the other reviews had said. When we arrived the kitchen floor had crumbs and dust bunnies (which was easy for me to sweep up) and I noticed the master bedroom vent had what looked like mold on it? Just some feedback for the housekeeper. Overall it was a great trip and we would 100% stay here again!

We stayed on this property while attending activities at Parris Island. Very close to the base and easy to get to. Convenient to many local restaurants. House was clean and nicely decorated. Staff was very nice and easy to work with for early access when we arrived on the island.

We would definitely stay here again. We were in Port Royal for our son's Marine Corps graduation and the location could not have been better. I would highly recommend. We had family come last minute from Oregon, so we had to get two places to house our entire crowd. Both houses were great and only .5 mile apart, but this one really had a feeling of home so all came to our house (this location) to hang out in the evenings. .

The home was clean and up to date. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of room for the 7/8 of us that stayed there. We were visiting for my son's graduation from Marine boot camp. It is about 5 minutes to thr front gates. We had a great time sitting and enjoying our time with our new Marine on the enclosed back porch.

Beautiful quiet location. Location was perfect for getting onto Paris Island in the early morning hours to see my sons graduation from Boot Camp. This home was absolutely gorgeous and clean on the inside. And so comfortable. I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for our son's Marine graduation. We stayed Tuesday 1/4 - Saturday 1/8. Nice quiet neighborhood driving in. Upon arrival house has great curb appeal. We arrived sooner than expected considering we came came NJ. Property manager was very helpful in letting us check in 2 hours early. Just had to make sure cleaning service was done. After opening front door we were surprised to see inside of house, in a great way. Pictures of this house's interior do not do it justice. The inside was 1000x better than pictures. Alot bigger than it looks and and overall appearance. Was a few things that took some getting used to. Thermostat was alittle temperamental, I assume since it's touch screen and with all the different people staying there I'm sure it gets used alot. With that being said upstairs does get alot warmer than rest of house. The house was 3.5/5 clean. It was by no means dirty, but just little things like could've been swept better, some crumbs/dirt was left on floor, blinds looked like they haven't been dusted in a while, nothing that ruined our stay just honest review. We felt like possibly the floor was rushed since we called to see about checking in early. Parking in the back was easily accessible. Back gate could be alittle weird to figure out, but once we did there wasn't an issue.(I wasn't able to do it from outside of gate, couldn't see inside mechanism). Only issue with parking back there was I saw a kid wandering around the parking area and when I came out he ran from the area into his house. Kids being kids? I dunno just had a bad taste about it. By no means is this review a negative one. Like I said just being fully transparent. I would stay there again 9 times out of 10. Unless I wanted to try something new or it wasn't available. Place was amazing and plenty of room and for marine families it was less than a 10 minute drive to island. The few little things I brought up are exactly that little and didn't change our stay or mind about the place.
