Recovered at the Recovery Room
We enjoyed our stay at Recovery Room very, very much. The home is very close to the beach with amazing views. The kitchen is well equipped with just about anything you may need, however a lot of dishes were put away dirty and needed to be cleaned before use. I believe this had to do with an ill-working dishwasher. So we washed them by hand which wasn’t a big deal as we didn’t eat in that much.
We were there for 2 weeks in February of 2024 with friends. It wasn’t the warmest of times to be there this year, the nights were in 30-40s, but it warmed up outside nicely everyday. One of the heat pumps to the unit didn’t work so it was chilly on the first two floors in the morning. The rental agency did address the issue however it was unable to be fixed during our stay.
I only gave 3 stars for cleanliness. The view from the main floor is absolutely stunning, and one would think housekeeping would be sure to clean those doors and windows after every checkout to optimize that view for every guest. I washed them on my first morning in the house for just that reason, the view. The unit is surface cleaned but is in need of a really deep clean.
This is our second year in the area, and we plan on going back again. Despite the few things I have mentioned I would go back to the Recovery Room in a heartbeat, we lived every single minute of our time there.
