Snowbirds

The unit was nice. Kitchen could have used a few more things- wine glasses come to mind.Masterbed was comfy, but could use new sheets. The sheets were pilled enough to be noticeable. It’s says partial water view- which is true, but it is a ‘long’ view. Close to one of the looks, not heated this time of yr but lovely. We walked to beach almost daily.

Nice home in quiet neighborhood with nice pool close to the ocean!

Stayed here for 3 nights and we really enjoyed ourselves! The house is super cute and cozy with plenty of space! The pool was beautiful with a boardwalk leading from the pool to the beach. You can walk or drive to the pool, we did both depending on how energetic we were feeling! The walk to the beach over the dunes is a bit tough but it's worth it for the beautiful private beach! You may want to bring extra towels because there weren't any extras but there is a washer/dryer with 3 pods so we were able to wash some. Port St Joe has some cute shops and restaurants but they close early! Overall, we had a great time!

Summer 2024 Vacation

We stayed in this property during the week of July 4th with 6 adults and 2 kids. The house was very spacious and fit everyone perfectly. The golf game/game room in the in-law suite was a hit for everyone. The house was decorated very nicely and had a great view! However, it was not stocked very well for the amount of people it sleeps, we had no hot water in one of the bathrooms and the refrigerator was turned off when we arrived which almost ruined all of our groceries. The house also does not have an outdoor grill which we were told before our stay but I know that can be a dealbreaker for some. We’ve stayed in this community before so we knew a golf cart would be helpful but just for future reference the beach is a pretty far walk especially if you have kids with all the beach toys! All in all we had a great trip and love the WindMark community!

Great house overall

This was a great house for the price! LOTS of space! It’s a very new house so it’s clean. However, because it’s new, it doesn’t have everything you might need. I think there were 4 coffee cups total, no plastic cups, no outdoor furniture at all (but there is an outside porch, just no where to sit), etc. But again, I’m assuming that’s due to the newness of the house. It was clean but we did have an issue with a few of the beds (bunk beds) not having sheets on them, so we had to make them ourselves when we got there. Also, I’d say the biggest drawback of this house is that it is not made clear in the listing that you can NOT walk to the pool, town center of Windmark. You do get access which is great, but you DEFINITELY have to drive a car to get there. Also, it says there is beach access directly across from you, but this is also misleading as it’s quite a hike. All this to say, we would definitely stay here again, but I do think it should be made clearer exactly where this house is located BEFORE booking. Overall, it was a great experience.
