"We enjo.yed our stay. The cottage was in a tranqil area, but only a short drive from Porthmadog. It had every thing that we needed in a home away from home. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and clean. The beds were very comfortable, although bedrooms were small. The lounge area is looking a little tired, the sofa and rug especially need updating. There was a lot of cobwebs throuhout with wispy spiders (which I hoovered away) . "The Royal Victoria Hotel gets so much right it hardly seems worth mentioning anything it falls down on- but for info I'll mention the TV in the lounge was broken so no World Cup, and the room was warm at night- but that's a common experience across the industry. The food, service, gardens, cleanliness and interiors were superb. This was our second visit; standards still as high as ever. And the food at the restaurant - it's knockout. A credit to the region."
