“The hotel was very nice as were the staff. As in many cities there is a significant homeless population close to the hotel. We have no difficulty, we were not bothered, it’s just sad to witness. Powell Books is a stones throw away, we had a few (4-5) blocks to walk for a meal. We wanted to watch play off hockey (Canadians!!) and we had no problem finding bars with TV’s. Staff in all areas we were gave great friendly service. All and all good city, very decent hotel. ”

“This is a garbage hotel. 179 a day. I stayed for three days. On the last day. I saw a bug in the shower room. One in the washbasin. Two on the bed. My day was very disgusting. “I love historic older buildings! The suite we paid for was more spacious than the photos showed. There were a few things about the cleanliness of the room like there was toothpaste on the wall and mirror from previous guests and also what looked like rubber glue. Also previous guests left sticky pancake syrup on one of the chairs when I sat down. Warm water got it right out of the chair with no staining but my pants were an issue. The towels in the room and the pool had a funky odor and the pool……
