We are in the park of the Tuscan Archipelago, and for trekking lovers, we recommend not to miss the wonderful circular path that starts from Porto Azzurro, leads to the foot of the San Giacomo Fortress (path 222), continues after the Barbarossa beach (path 224), until you reach the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Monserrato (path 226).
Let us remember that Porto Azzurro is also the sea: from the pebble beach near the town center called "la Rossa"; to that of the white gravel "Pianotta" in the town center; the wild mineral beach of the "Laghetto di Terra nera"; 2 km away is the pebble beach of "Reale", and "Barbarossa", the main beach of the town made up of gravel and sand.
