Great Place to Stay for a Scottish Family Roadtrip

Great little b&b with a beautiful view to wake up to. Very nice and comfortable rooms, extra clean and with plenty of space for a family. The food in the included breakfast was delicious, stocked with items from local producers. The owner and her husband were lovely, helpful and kind. They put out a little local whiskey for guests to sample. Plenty of parking space, if you're roadtripping through the area. A short drive to many of the outdoor sights around Skye. Highly recommend.

Very cosy and sparkling clean room with a beautiful bathroom. The beds were comfortable and it was nice waking up to have fresh and delicious breakfast prepared by the lovely hostess Mairi in the beautifully decorated lounge with a view. The location is good, within walkable distance to the town center. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We would be sure to come back and would highly recommend anyone to stay in this fantastic guest house in Portree. Thank you, Andrew & Mairi!

高台からの眺望と作りたての朝食

ホテルは海岸沿いではなく高台にあります。 朝食を頂くリビングからの眺望は素敵です。 朝食チョイスに炒り卵のサーモン乗せがオシャレで美味しかったです。 部屋にはエスプレッソマシーン、クッキーがありました。

Chambre propre, lit très confortable, un peu petite par contre. Déceptions par contre : des difficultés à utiliser le wifi qui se déconnecte sans arrêt, vue sur le parking, et surtout de découvrir (à notre arrivée!!!) que la salle de bain certes privée était située en dehors de la chambre (on nous propose gentiment un peignoir pour aller aux toilettes ou se doucher sans être vue nu). Personnellement cela m'a vraiment gêné et pour le prix j'espérais mieux! Les murs sont très fins, on entendait distinctement tout ce que disait le couple dans la chambre d'à côté ou ce qu'ils faisaient sur les toilettes. Le petit déjeuner était bien complet et la vue dans le salon est magnifique. Par contre pour y accéder c'est assez compliqué (petites routes, pentes), j'imagine que par temps de neige ou de verglas ça doit être un vrai parcours du combattant. Vraiment excentré du centre ville de Portree.

Fantastic guest house - spotlessly clean, modern and with excellent service from our hosts. Service was above and beyond expectations. Guest house is 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre, so is well located. The breakfast room overlooks the sea.

Schönes B&B mit netter Gastgeberin in Portree

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Breton House während unserer Rundreise auf der Isle of Skye. Zimmer war sehr sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet. Das schottische Frühstück war ebenfalls super. Können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Fabuloso sitio para hospedarse en Skye

Un sitio un poco alejado del centro de Portree pero con unas vistas preciosas. Nuestra habitación era amplia y cálida. El desayuno bastante completo y la atención muy buena. Además, si te gusta el whiskey, tienen una botella para degustarlo. La verdad es que fue una estancia maravillosa.

Breton house- what a find!

A wonderful place. Huge, beautiful room and bathroom, lots of little extras, great views. Hard to find in the dark, and the keys have to be collected in Portree, but these are minor inconveniences.

Very nice house with a great view and great breakfast. Staff was very friendly. The only minor thing is that it's a little hard to find if you arrive at night........but well worth it when you find it!
