We are so sorry your stay did not goes as smoothly as it should have for your work in Portsmouth. All of us are sorry the city was doing work on the water lines during your visit. Everyone of us wishes things never need replacing or repairs but unfortunately our city does need to take out old lines and update the infrastructure. Our team would have tried to relocate you but the city work turned off water to the entire building. The workers from the town did feel badly for affecting our guests but they thought by doing the replacement during the middle of the day they would effect the least amount of people. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.

We do appreciate your insight and opinions. I do apologize the water did not get to a temperature you want quickly enough. As a hotel with 168 rooms we do offer 5 different ice machines in various locations. I'm sorry you were unable to quick ice quickly enough for your needs.

Our hotel policies on the website do state there may be a fee for an early arrival. The entire travel industry does charge fees for changes to reservations.
