I came to the hotel to check in. The lady at the front desk was very polite and professional. Check In is at 3 but I was there at 2. She let me check in even though she didn’t have to. She did inform me as I was checking in that there was no water due to a busted pipe up the road. She said it would be around 4-5pm it should be fixed. There was not a working bathroom in the whole building. No restrooms or sinks to wash hands. I was fine with it because things happen and it wasn’t the hotel’s fault they didn’t have water. 4pm rolls around and I go to the front desk to inquire about an update on the water. I was greeted by a female who stated she was the manager. I asked about if there was an update about the water situation. I was informed that it could be in the next hour or until the next day after we check out. I was talking in a calm manner not being rude or came off as being rude. (If I was rude I wouldn’t be writing and giving a low rating) the Manager decides to kinda talk down to me like she was better than me. With somewhat of an attitude. Now I completely understand if I had an attitude she may have an attitude because after all we are all human but as stated above I KNOW I was not rude what so ever. Being in the hospitality business the customer should feel comfortable and welcomed, I did not feel that at all. I would recommend retraining the manager in hospitality. No I don’t want a refund or anything such as compensation.

Room was OK except for the tub/shower which was in poor condition because the "caulk" was moldy and pulling away form the wall. As well as the "floor"of the tub was in poor condition as well.

I go back home and visit with family. The only reason I stay here is because my daughter likes to swim in the pool. This is our 2nd stay this year here. We had to switch rooms due to the smell when we opened the door to the room knocked us on our feet. The bathroom was terrible and honestly needed to be deep cleaned. We switched rooms, not a big deal. Checked in and all was good until we came back from the pool. I left the AC unit on and when we came back to the room, it smelled like cat pee. I figured out the smell was coming from the AC unit and turned it off and cracked the window to air out the smell. We slept without an AC through the night. Next morning we got breakfast which was the only good experience we had during our stay: I told the lady up front the issues as well as maintenance. On check out, I was offered a free snack and 10% off the stay! For what this hotel costs and the location, I won’t be staying here again. Just beware when booking here. Rooms aren’t the greatest, staff is friendly.. however we won’t be staying here again.

It did not meet the standards of a Holiday Inn Express. We have stayed here many times; this time, we saw a marked difference in the condition of the property. This property isn't maintained as you would expect from Holiday Inn Express.

The staff was the best part of this hotel.

All of the employees provided true southern hospitality. My complaint was that there were a large number of children there with sports teams, and they were loud! The rooms didn’t have enough sound attenuation to compensate for all the kids running and yelling up and down the hall.

The staff was nice. The room was clean. The bed was excellent! But the air conditioning did not work properly, high humidity in the room. There are ongoing issues with water at this location. Because I’ve stayed here before and experienced problems. On a previous visit, there was no water in my room, and I was unable to take a shower. On this visit, the first day, I took a cold shower because there was no hot water. Before checkout, I tried repeatedly to reach customer service to request somebody to help me with my luggage, but was unable to get through. I tried repeatedly for 30 minutes. Major issues, however, are air conditioning and water.

Nice place to stay. Clean, quite and several dining options nearby, even a small Walmart. Breakfast was great as well as the all day cookies, popcorn and juice.
