“They built a parking lot from scratch right below our windows for 4 days straight, all day long. Alerted to the situation, the staff did not react in any way, shape or form, just ignoring our messages. It shows a profound misunderstanding of hospitality and makes me wonder what else they would not care about ? Except that, the apartment had visible water infiltrations on the walls, the towels smelled when changed (every 3 days) and the walls are paper thin so you get to live with your neighbors.……

“This hotel is a good choice for someone who needs a rest from busy daily life. It has has a great location as it is next to the ferry for the beach, a restaurant is on a ground floor, a main market hall is 5 minutes away. Big shopping centre is over the river - also quite close. Also near the bus station (train is further away). The residencia is well organised, the staff is helpful. I would not recommend another alternative place to stay in Tavira as there are in a different category.”

“The Grand House Hotel has a dominating presence in VRSA. You can’t miss this incredible building. The hotel is stunning with much history. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room was immaculate with everything we needed. Didn’t want to leave this morning! We were lucky to have a car parking space (on a first come, first serve basis) right outside the hotel. We didn’t book breakfast but was available if we required it. We arrived with huge expectations which were……

Par contre, la communication avant d'arriver est désastreuse ! Personne ne répond aux messages sur l'appli hôtel.com et personne ne m'a répondu sur le WhatsApp du numéro donné pour cet hébergement. Résumé: en pré saison, c'est très raisonnable mais en haute saison, ça doit être bondé...”

“Newly refurbed property which we visited during a soft opening. Some things are yet to be completed but overall a much improved appearance including a remodelled pool. Worth a visit”

“Don Diego Hotel in Ayamonte is as good as you can get, the price is quite reasonable and the rooms are spacious spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfordable. I had difficulties with wi-fi but this didn't interfer with my stay. Personally, I had a very good experience in this establishment. One last negative comment the breakfast is not so good in comparrison to an Irish breakfast.”

“We had a wonderful stay and cannot fault anything. The accommodation, set amongst the orange groves, was amazing and we particularly loved the salt water swimming pool and rooftop terrace. “Muy mal , por parte de la Recepción.. hasta cuatro veces tuve que indicar la Necesidad de una cama supletoria, lo hice cuando llegamos por la mañana , al mediodía ,por la tarde , NO atendieron mí petición…..… Tras todo el día a las 12:00 de la noche me ofrecen otra habitación diferente, Ni hemos podido dormir en horas, Dp las llaves tampoco abrían, un desastre la verdad, muchísima incompetencia. Creo que aún no están preparados para tanto volumen de trabajo.”
