The Karoline: Old World Charm In A 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Beauty By The Charles Bridge

This newly renovated, fully-equipped 2-bed and 2-bath apartment with a living room able to be converted into a bedroom on the 1st floor(2nd floor US) of a historical neo-gothic building just around the corner from the Charles Bridge is for up to 8 guests, and at the same time caters to a smaller, more demanding group or family that wants to have Old World style but in a modern, functioning flat. There are three connecting rooms: the master bedroom with king-size bed(180 cm wide), the living room/sitting room with fireplace(bio-ethynol means real flames but no smoke), cable TV, and a large pull-out sofa, and then the large bedroom with two king-size beds. These rooms all have their own entry/exit doors, so privacy is not a problem. The large master bathroom has a tub/shower, toilet, his and her vanity sinks, and a washer and dryer concealed behind a decorative side panel. The second smaller bath if also fully equipped, with a small sink, shower, and toilet, and both have heated floors. Complementary WiFi works throughout the flat. The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for making large meals, or even just for a coffee and small breakfast in the morning. Iron and ironing board, all towels and washcloths, and extra bedding are of course provided. Smoking is not permitted in the flat, but we have a small balcony which is perfect for that.
We think that you will appreciate the level of detail that Mark & Mirka put into the flat, from the choice of linens for the beds and selection of furnishings (we have two art nouveau chairs in the kitchen) to the extensive restoration of the ceiling décor and the matching chandeliers. We have really focused on trying to preserve and enhance as many elements from the original construction as possible.

This was a beautiful apartment in the heart of Prague's Old Town area. Everything is within walking distance. The host was extremely accommodating, ensuring we were met in person at the apartment when we arrived and even included a handful of basic items (soft drinks, beer, some light snacks, etc) to ensure we were comfortable. We traveled as a family...2 adults and 2 children. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable place in a prime location in Prague.

This is perhaps my most favorite stay ever. The hosts were so generous leaving me amenities in the fridge like wine, milk, butter, juice and beer as well as some food and homemade strudel. Mark checked on me a few times to make sure everything was going well. The location is so good…walkable to many sites and stores. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped with heated bathroom flooring and wonderful light. I LOVED this place and would absolutely return. Prague might be the most beautiful city I’ve ever seen!

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment - it was perfect for our family of 5. Mark was wonderful and arranged round trip transport for us. We had someone welcome us to the apartment and show us around and we even had some snacks and drinks ready which was so kind and made us feel very welcome. Everything was just as described in the listing and even better because we didn’t want for anything while there.

The apartment is in a fantastic location in the center of everything. It is about 5 minutes from the Charles Bridge and right in the center of the city. The hosts are very responsive and were very accommodating. They also supplied the fridge with some food and drinks when we first arrived. The one problem we had was that the apartment is over a cafe / bar. With the windows open at night it got loud a few nights. This has nothing to do with the hosts or the apartment, it is just something to keep in mind.

In the center of it all!

Wonderful stay for a tourist family of older teens. The property was comfortable, cute, immaculate and well provisioned. Communication with Mark and Galina was quick, efficient and thorough. They provided information and access to airport transportation and some delicious starter snacks. Great, very safe location walkable to key tourist destinations and a variety of cafes and markets. A bit noisy with partiers at night, but that didn’t bother us much. I’d definitely stay here again. Book now!

Fabulous stay in Old town Prague

Could not have asked for a better location. A roomie and well appointed 2-suite flat, well stocked (starter beer, wine, fresh bread, milk, ham, cheese…) and very comfortable. Within Walking distance from most everything. Mark was very responsive to questions and reached out to make sure we were doing well. The second bathroom is small, but there is a large mirror and table to be used as a vanity that provides what you need.

Ideal central apartment

Often the accommodation choice can make or break these sorts of quick stays in an unknown city - and for us, this one made it. The location is right near all the old city areas (2-10 mins easy walking), without being busy or noisy itself. It was comfortable and feels very authentic. As a family of four with two young adult children, the two bedroom / three beds / two bathroom setup was critical to us, and worked well. The apartment is up one easy flight of stairs, and warm and clean. The host was fantastically responsive, gave a great arrival experience, and we would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a similar type of base for their stay in Prague.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

The apartment is a gem: spacious, very well appointed, super high ceilings, double layered windows, etc. It's absolutely beautifully decorated with stucko on the ceiling and walls, nice artwork. It was nicely pre-stocked with some food and drinks and all necessary consumables. Location is great. A 2-3 minutes walk to the Charles bridge but still in quiet area.
