Beautiful and quiet location, parking (very important if you have a rental), friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in the best spot to reach in both directions: to Amalfi on one side, or to Positano and Sorrento on the other side. There is a buss station steps from the hotel entrance and few really good restaurants close by. We will chose it again when we travel this way!

Absolutely stunning hotel and staff ! The views from your rooms are to die for. The staff go above and beyond to help you feel welcomed and well accommodated. Even on the rainy days they offered to plan cooking classes or help us find something to do. I would highly recommend staying here as it is a wonderful family business and the rooms are stunning. Restaurants short walks around and amazing gelato down the road. Short drive to positano for some more crowded /tourist attractions. This area offers relaxing stay , comfortable rooms, amazing views , delicious food & 5 star staff !

Family friendly, well cared for, good breakfast w/amazing views. Close to Amalfi coast big towns, but you get a good small town feel. Our second time at the property and we would return in the future!

The hotel is beautiful, stunning views! Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant is very good. Do not recommend booking the annex hotel room apartment across the street from the property. Loud noise including road noise at night. Sea window view, no patio or balcony view.

Perfectly located outside of Positano in a quietly nestled town that gives you the absolute best views. this is due to the family business taking great pride. They were very responsive via Expedia message and WhatsApp and were able to help me book tours (Capri tour was very fun and well worth it), book taxis etc. the hotel is walking steps where you can catch a bus back and forth to Positano. Much less than a taxi and totally fine. The food in the hotel was great including the free breakfast( lots of baked sweet treats). They cleaned our room more than once a day and were so detailed. I had flowers and came back to them in a vase with water. They truly work to take care of every need. I would definitely recommend and come back.

The staff are amazing! We enjoyed our stay. The location in Praiano makes it easy to get to the beach and the marina. The breakfast is delicious. We loved the pool, and the poolside cocktails and snacks. Overall this was a wonderful place for a vacation on the Amalfi Coast. I would highly recommend.

Staff were amazing and accommodating to whatever we needed. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed a lovely meal watching the sunset with breathtaking views Hotel room itself was ok but it was quite small considering 4 star hotel. It didn't come with a proper fridge and the makeshift bathroom storage wasn't really adequate. That being said we did enjoy our stay but we were a little disappointed with the room

Exceptional Hospitality and a Beautiful Stay on the Amalfi Coast! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tramonto d’Oro in Praiano! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The hotel offers breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast, along with wonderful amenities, including a sauna and steam room for relaxation. The location was another highlight. Praiano offers a peaceful escape from the crowds, while still providing easy access to Positano and Amalfi. The bus stop is just steps from the hotel, making it very convenient to explore the coast. The water taxi is easy to access but it is a lot of steps, which is typical. What truly sets this hotel apart is the genuine hospitality and attention to detail. Hotel Tramonto d’Oro made our Amalfi Coast experience even more memorable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We are so happy that we decided to stay here! This hotel offers the best views of the sunset on the whole coast, their breakfast and restaurant in general was amazing with the views, we loved the pool. They also had great AC in the room. And the staff went above and beyond in helping with all of our private transportation. I would highly recommend staying here, we can’t wait to come back .

After being able to have travelled a lot the only way I can describe the feeling you get when from this hotel is FAMILY. They literally can not do enough for you or your needs during your stay. I have never felt more welcomed and part of there family , in any other hotel I’ve visited, ever. Unbelievble stay! Will be recommending this hotel to everyone that travels to the Amalfi Coast! The staff was very welcoming and helpful after a stressful travel day, the room great working AC (A+ for Italy in July), the breakfast included was amazing, the room service was excellent, the pool was clean and quiet, and the dinners were great! You will do a disservice to your trip if you stay anywhere else! It was also conveniently close to public transport, which made it easy to get to and from Positano/Amalfi/Sorrento! Highly recommend!

I truly can’t say more about this Hotel, the staff, the food, the rooms, amenities and of course the views. The kindness and genuine care and willingness to help is unlike anywhere I’ve ever stayed. We were on our honeymoon and they made it memorable and feel like home for the 3 days we were there. I will recommend this hotel and the town of Praiano to anyone looking at the Amalfi Coast. They even gave us an ornament when we left and it warm my heart so much because we collect ornaments for everywhere we visit. 🤗❤️ We will be back one day!!
