Our stay was extremely disappointing. The first room was so dated and dingy that it felt dirty — it smelled old, and the carpet was sticky and torn. We asked for an updated room, and while it was cleaner, it was a downgrade from the suite we paid for, and they initially tried to charge us $30 extra. After some back and forth, they finally let us switch, and Expedia refunded our second night.
We had to leave early to find another hotel, so we never got to relax after a long travel day. To make things worse, every restaurant — even the coffee shop — was closed when we checked out, so we couldn’t use our $12 Expedia Gold credit. Overall, a very frustrating experience.
