Beautiful quiet countryside, 15 minutes to everything!

Beautiful country setting, very comfortable and serene. Bettina and Christophe are amazing hosts. They responded quickly to every request & question and took care of all our needs. Private, quiet setting and only 15 to 30 minutes drive to groceries, markets and medival villages. Highly recommend!

wonderful stay

Bettina and Olivia were brilliant hosts. The welcome drinks to meet the other guests was a lovely added touch. The Gite itself was perfect for our needs and had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome booklet had lots of really useful information too. We were very sad to leave. Thank you both for a wonderful stay. Hopefully we'll see you again in the not too distant future.

Magical place

We had a very pleasant week at Perrot. The gite is ideally located should you want a get-away-from-it-all break in the gentle Perigord countryside with several local walks from the door yet the tourist attractions of the Dordogne valley are a relatively short drive away. We visited during a hot spell and appreciated the cool of the rustic gite and our 8-year-old loved the swimming pool and games room in the large grounds. The hosts Bettina and Christophe were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. They were there if needed, but otherwise the gite and its outside eating/relaxing area was discretely private. Highly recommended!

Great family spot for exploring Dordogne

Bettina and Christophe were wonderful and welcoming hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed, and our two young children especially loved the children's playroom. We had some rainy weather while visiting, and the playroom offered a great opportunity for the kids to play with new (to them) and exciting toys. I highly encourage anyone who visits to take advantage of the Full Fridge service that Bettina and Christophe offer. We didn't, and we wished that we had because the closest grocery stores had hours that didn't really mesh with sightseeing, and we hadn't considered that beforehand. All in all, a lovely stay, and we only wished that we had stayed longer!

Gite plein de charme et des hôtes disponibles et très accueillants

Venus pour un mariage nous n'avons pas eu beaucoup de temps pour visiter mais nous avons tout de même bien profité de la jolie piscine, et faits quelques visites (Lalinde, Périgueux, Limeuil...) ; C'est vraiment une région magnifique, le gite est en pleine nature, hyper calme.

Herrlicher Hof in Alleinlage

Wir haben mit unseren Kindern eine sehr entspannte Woche auf Perrot verbracht. Die Lage ist traumhaft zwischen Sonnenblumenfeldern und Wäldern. Die Gastgeber waren sehr sympathisch und immer für Fragen erreichbar. Der Pool ist klasse- viel schöner als auf den Photos.

Très beau domaine

Endroit magnifique, reposant, avec beaucoup de terrain, de quoi se divertir sur place pour tous les âges, très belle piscine, ping-pong, terrain de pétanque, babyfoot, jeux de sociétés divers, très belle région et accueil de Bettina Christophe et de leurs animaux au top, de nombreux services pratiques, nature luxuriante et ciel étoilé nous ont ravis.

Super hôtesse

Merci à Bettina pour ce superbe accueil,on voit qu'elle aime recevoir les gens et partager son amour pour le lieu.Elle sait se mettre aux petits oignons pour ses hôtes, et propose des supers services.Le logement correspondait en tout point à l'annonce.Sous un soleil magnifique nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au domaine de Perrot.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft

Perrot bietet mit den schönen Häusern und dem herrlichen Pool einen großen Erholungswert und liegt gleichzeitig ideal zur Erkundung des Périgord. Wir hatten eine wunderbare und abwechslungsreiche Zeit. Bettina und Christoph sind prima Gastgeber und haben viele Tipps zu Restaurants, Ausflugzielen usw.

Wundervolle erholsame Tage

Wir hatten traumhafte fünf Tage in einer sehr liebevoll arrangierten Unterkunft. Die Begrüßung war äussert herzlich und die Gastgeber standen uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Anwesen ist sehr ruhig, idyllisch sowie abseits vom touristischen Trubel gelegen. Wir konnten vom ersten Tag an die Seele baumeln lassen und entspannen. Das Grundstück ist weitläufig und die unmittelbare Umgebung lädt zum spazieren gehen ein. Wir danken Bettina und Christoph nochmal herzlich für Ihre Gastfreundschaft und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Urlaubsfreude im Perigord

Unser Aufenthalt in Perrot bei Pressignac-Vicq hat all unsere Erwartungen erfüllt: das Domizil hatte Charme, seine Lage ist idyllisch, der Pool war eine willkommene Abwechslung; die Gastgeber waren freundlich, hilfreich und stets entgegenkommend; die Freizeitangebote und - Möglichkeiten (Radfahren, Wandern, Kanu, Golf) waren vielfältig; der Perigord ist von großer Schönheit, die Orte sind malerisch, ihre Bewohner freundlich und die Küche ist unübertroffen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Propriété magnifique avec le soucis du détail. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au calme au milieu d'un cadre magnifique. Bettina et Christophe sont charmants et attentionnés. Je recommande vivement ce gite.

Not a great stay

Having read all other reviews we were very excited to visit the property. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. We privately messaged the owner with what we thought about our stay to give them a chance to respond without the need to write it in the review. It turns out that everything was indeed our fault or the owners became very defensive. We did turn up 1 hour 30 mins early but due to a very long drive we couldn’t be completely accurate. Brittany was outside and you could tell she wasn’t happy about this. So my wife said we would sit in the car until the property was ready. We were allowed to check in but we didn’t feel that welcome. We weren’t shown around or explained anything about the property. All the instructions were in French or German (we are English)so we had no idea about anything. We saw Brittany on the odd occasion and Christophe never bothered welcoming us or talk to us throughout the whole stay. The property wasn’t as clean as it should have been. The back door window was broken and did not close fully allowing insects in. The shower holder was broken so we had to hold it about our heads with one hand. The washing up draining tray was all rusty which made my wife feel sick having to put clean washing up on. In reply to our email Brittany said she wasn’t aware of any of this but surely you would check everything was perfect for new guests. We bagged all the rubbish up before we left. We didn’t know what to do with it as wasn’t told or couldn’t read instructions. Brittany felt the need in her response to say that we left it. I think she should make more effort to be clear as we would have done what we were asked to if we knew. Upon leaving, are car was parked outside the owners window. No one came out to see us off or to see if we had a nice stay, I mentioned this in my email but the response was “what we we suppose to do wait outside from 8am to 10am”. I think you would hear the suitcases being loaded and as a host be listening out. We left at 10am so wasn’t at an unusual time. We have enjoyed other properties in the Dordorgne much better and for less money.

Calme et décontraction!

Vous pouvez vous y rendre les yeux fermés, Bettina et Christophe sont extras, les chats aussi et le domaine TRES agréable : maison, piscine, transats, et aucun bruit, que c'est agréable! Bon, les routes du Périgord ne sont pas toutes droites, certes, mais on y va aussi pour ça :-)

Merveilleux week end à la campagne

Super week end de Pâques chez Bettina, dans une très jolie maison au charme authentique, au milieu des champs et des bois Excellent accueil de notre hôtesse, très gentille et très discrète La maison est très belle L'extérieur, magnifique Nous n'oublierons pas la maison des enfants (petits et grands....) Quelle bonne idée ! Nous avons hâte de revenir

Bon accueil dans jolie propriété

Nous avons pu profiter des bois autour de notre gîte, nous balader aux alentours, balade au pas de l’âne. Court pour vouloir tout faire. On reviendra en Dordogne. Tout est dans la maison pour le nécessaire. Bettina et Christophe ont su nous accueillir et répondre à nos besoins.

Excellent week end de la fête des pères

Nous avons passé un excellent week end dans ce gîte, le jardin est magnifique, les enfants ont pu jouer avec les lapins et les jeux pour enfants présents dans la "maison des enfants" ainsi que de la piscine. Beaucoup de charme à ce gîte situé entre Bergerac et Sarlat. Betina, notre hôte, nous avait conseillait la visite du jardin de Limeuil qui s'est révélée comme une excellente visite familiale. Bref nous vous recommandons chaleureusement ce gîte !
