  • This is just one of many spectacular views from a walk entitled "Pas Du Loup". We started at Capluc, a cross on a peak above Le Rozier and did the entire circuit. It's still comfortably in my top ten all time great walks. If you suffer acrophobia it's one to be avoided. The area is also something of a mecca for rock climbers. The whole Goreg du Tarn is a special place for me because the tourist buses don't go there and it's reputedly the deepest gorge in Europe.

Court séjour extraordinaire dans un lieu magique où l accueil et le service sont vraiment au top, avec un directeur très sympathique et très intéressant sur l histoire. Les repas sont excellents dans ce lieu privilégié pour des vacances mémorables.

Auberge hors du temps ayant conservée toute son authenticité dans un magnifique village médiéval. L'accueil, le dîner, les chambres ; tout était parfait.

Cinq jours hors du temps

Dans le village médiaval de La Garde-Guérin, l'auberge (monument historique) est un lieu à part. La chambre quoique petite était très jolie, confortable, fonctionnelle. L'escalier en colimaçon pour y accéder est délicat avec une valise mais le patron, toujours aimable, est là pour aider. La cour intérieure, la salle de restaration, tout le cadre est là pour une plongée dans la Lozère d'autrefois. La cuisine est bonne même si l'on aimerait y trpouver plus de produits et de spécialités locales (quitte à jouer la carte de la tradition, autant y aller à fond). Une expérience tout à fait plaisante pour conclure !
