Would reconsider for kids
We were originally drawn to the "Walkable to Anini Beach Trailhead" title, but quickly found we were fooled. While it is technically "walkable" at 0.5 miles, we were highly encouraged by the concierge NOT to use this trail to access the beach as it was unsafe and no longer recommended by any of the area hotels/complexes. For reference, the closest other beach (as recommended by management) was about an hour walk and includes 200 stairs. Pool was lovely. We have 2 small children, so perhaps you take the rest of this review with a grain of salt? Abuts a golf course which is pretty to look at but inaccessible even to stroll after hours without trespassing. No tubs in our unit, only showers which made bath time interesting (we didn't choose this - you just get what you get when you arrive). Noise carried readily as the unit had very thin walls and ceilings. The layout of the units basically made it so that if a neighbor was having a conversation on their patio (at a reasonable level)...or walking, then anyone above, below, or across the sidewalk could easily hear. Our patio was ground level and covered in chicken poop so we didn't enjoy this space. Multiple cabinets were broken in the bathroom and kitchen which lead to more than a few foot injuries.
