"The KY State Resort Parks ROCK! Kenlake Lodge is well maintained, and the rooms spacious and clean. The staff are super friendly and personable. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the view of the lake is beautiful. The food is quality at super reasonable prices! The booze may not be top shelf but you aren’t paying top shelf! The pool is very nice, large, and clean. KY State Resort Park have a certain charm of simpler times. Not just the furniture, but the quality and hospitality…And, the prices! The park grounds are well-maintained. Disclaimer - I am NOT a state employee! I just appreciate a basic good time on a low budget while not sacrificing space, hospitality, or cleanliness."

"Perfect cabin for our “Sister Getaway”. It’s neatly tucked in the woods. Was very clean. Its location is very close to a Bourbon tour of three distilleries that we did in an afternoon. Would definitely stay again."

"The house was absolutely beautiful! We was a family of 10 and there was more than enough room for everyone and not feel crowded. Backyard leads directly to the lake, nice for swimming, kayaking and fishing. There is a good size yard to play games and hang out. Good flat spots for cornhole, badminton, etc... They have cornhole boards and multiple games supplied there for the family to keep entertained at nights. There is a dollar general and a convenient store 20 mins away for things forgotten. Would've definitely loved to stay a couple more days! Again the house was absolutely beautiful and seemed well kept!Side note: alot of wildlife, raccoons will get into the trash bins by the road and make an absolute mess, so we kept rocks on the lids while we were there ( after we learned our the lesson the first night lol)"
