Glavas Inn Hotel

"Very happy with our stay at Glavas Inn. Checking in was fast and easy. The rooms were very clean and cleaned each day for us. The shower was nice and new and had good pressure and hot water. There is a window in the bathroom so it doesn’t get too hot/humid. The AC worked very well. We stayed in room 501 and 507. Both were good. 507 had a huge balcony with a good view and a bit of privacy as it was an end unit. 501 was right beside the path of the hotel so we couldn’t open our window or curtains due to lack of privacy. Our patio didn’t really have a view as it was blocked by a tree, however it provided great shade. The food was decent, with variety enough for all. The drinks were not too good of quality but the beer and wine was enough with meals to satisfy us for this trip. The staff was all extremely friendly. The beach here is beautiful and sandy. We didn’t want to pay the extra 10 euros per day for seats so we just sat on the sand in the shade and it was fine. We ended up having to go shopping for beach towels as you cannot use the hotel towels but that’s fine. The property is very beautiful and cared for greatly. As other reviews state this hotel is in an incline, so it’s best to be in good shape to stay here. We were fortunate enough that our rooms were right near the main building which had an elevator so we didn’t have to walk up and down much. Make sure to pack toiletries as there are none complimentary except for all in one soap. Would stay again!"

"We had a wonderful stay and would love to go back. The rooms were clean & comfortable and the location is nice w/ only a very short walk to the beach, but set back just a bit so it’s removed from traffic and a little quieter. The price also seemed very reasonable. If I had to find something to nitpick we could’ve used more electrical outlets, but that was pretty minor. Most importantly, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had suffered multiple delays in arriving so I was worried about my reservation being canceled like my car rental, but when I contacted the hotel George was very responsive and I am eternally grateful they helped get our vacation back on track after a rocky start getting there. The pool/bar guy was also very helpful as I struggled to get up to speed the first day w/ all the time change, foreign language & currency exchange, etc. Can’t say enough good things about our experience there!"
