"A welcoming host and the property was clean and tidy on arrival.However, the property description and photos used on the Vrbo website are very misleading. A 'flagship' property it is not. Photographs used are not representative of the current furniture items in use.When renting a property we would expect to have functioning, fit for purpose items and furniture, something that was sadly missing.Broken bedside drawers that couldn't be used, no cereal bowls in the crockery set (how an earth are you supposed to eat cereal from a plate?) a damaged front door, exterior matting placed outside the patio windows that wasn't stuck to the floor and was a ridiculous trip hazard and to top it all, we arrived to a badly cracked patio window held together with sellotape!!!There is a promise of a BBQ, but this was also non existent, (there was a rusty old version round the back that was embarrassing to say the least), so the host apologised and brought us two disposable BBQs as a replacement. I could go on with other things, but I think you get the picture. On a positive note, the property is perfectly positioned to explore all the amenities of Puerto de Mazarron, is in a quiet residential area and the overall layout is very good.In summary, it has been sadly neglected, with a lack of basic investment apparent, something that any serious owner should be spending to make the occupier feel they are getting value for money. "

"This was the gem of our trip to Spain. It was a truly last-minute booking and we had no clue as to how quaint it was. Our balcony room overlooked the beach and was fun watching the Spanish vacationers and the sunsets. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay a second night."
