"The worst aspect of the stay was the food. The duck meal I had was heavily spiced with cinammon or nutmeg- both the sauce and red cabbage. There was no mention of this on the menu. I dislike the flavour and I complained but there was not even an explanation or apology. The breakfast also was uninspiring. ..."

"Peaceful, relaxing, scenic and cosy. Hostless checkin was very smooth, welcome email had everything we could possibly need. Beautiful area and beautiful lodge. Saw our hosts a couple of times - lovely people! We were looking for a relaxing, unplugged, recharge stay and that is exactly what we got! ..."

Weekend bus trip
"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. ..."
