"The room, property and all amenities were clean and well organized. The managing host was friendly, organized and a very knowledgeable resource to guide us and help plan daily activities (thank-you so much!). All the staff were friendly. Having access to a shared outdoor kitchen was a surprise and extremely useful. Breakfast was made fresh and on-time, coordinated to details such as tour departures. This was an excellent stay and we would come again!"

"The cabin was spotless, but could use some repair on the tiles in the shower. The proximity to the park and ability to walk to restaurants and tour companies, make it more than the best place to stay for the Whales Tail."

"We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. "

"Scott was the most welcoming host- offering to show us points of interest, pointing out all available amenities and was responsive to inquiries throughout the process. The apartment has a stunning view and a most inviting deck to relax and enjoy sunsets. "

"The morning breakfast buffet was great. The lunch and dinner were the same and did get tired of eating the same thing.
Our room was very noisy. The people above us woke us up thumping around. The walls were paper thin. There was a family with 4 very loud boys next to us and we could hear their conversations quite clearly. For this reason, we would probably not stay ere again.
It is a beautiful resort with wildlife all around. We saw lots of monkeys, a toucan, and a sloth during our visit."
"From the moment we stepped onto the property until the moment we left, we felt completely pampered. The staff at Parador were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel welcome from day one.
We loved everything about our visit, from the delicious food and beautiful pools to the incredible local wildlife throughout the property. Being surrounded by Costa Rica’s natural beauty made the experience truly special. There was always something to see, and we loved having the opportunity to enjoy the wildlife right where we were staying.
The location was also fantastic. We could easily walk to the beach, and it was just a short ride to additional beautiful beaches and the small downtown area. Quepos was also only a quick cab ride away. The staff made exploring the area easy and stress-free by offering great recommendations, helping us understand where to go, and making sure we were headed in the right direction. We always felt comfortable and safe coming and going.
Parador gave us exactly what we hoped for from our Costa Rican vacation—a beautiful setting, incredible hospitality, great food, nature, relaxation, and easy access to explore the area. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special Costa Rican getaway."
"We had an amazing time. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The casino was small but still a lot of fun and they had a great happy hour. The hotel was beautiful and the pool. We had an ocean view balcony and it was so worth it. The bar by the pool had amazing drinks and good food. The service everywhere across the hotel was great. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back."
"We stayed at the Los Sueños Marriott as a family and overall were satisfied, particularly for the rate we paid.
Our family room was large, spacious, clean and well maintained, with a generous balcony. The balcony is shared with the neighbouring room but divided by furniture. Our view was of the rear/service area of one of the restaurants, which wasn’t particularly attractive but didn’t bother us. The air conditioning appeared fixed and couldn’t be adjusted.
The arrival experience could be improved. We arrived at 2pm but had to wait until the official 4pm check-in, which feels quite late compared with many hotels. We didn’t receive a welcome drink or particularly warm reception, and limited information about the resort was provided. It was largely a case of finding things yourself through the app.
Our booking included $80 resort credit per night, which was welcome, although food and drink are expensive so it doesn’t go far. We were also disappointed that many offers were limited to Marriott Platinum members; a happy hour for all guests would be a nice addition.
Complimentary activities were a real positive, including 30-minute self-guided paddleboarding and kayaking. The pools are large and spacious. It’s a huge resort and clearly caters for corporate events, but this didn’t affect us.
We visited in the July rainy season and enjoyed how quiet the hotel was. Overall, not our favourite hotel in Costa Rica, but a comfortable stay and reasonable value for the price we paid."
"The staff were incredibly attentive with lots of little touches to help make your lives easier e.g. golf cart from the main entrance, leaving gift with snacks for my road trip, choice of toiletries, free umbrellas available and more."
