「The old house was charming. It could benefit from a really good, deep clean. The bathrooms and beds/linens were very clean and the kitchen was functional. We didn't use the outdoor area but it was nice and well suited to a comfortable place to hang out on a nice day. The town has food and necessity shopping available and easily accessible. Overall we were pleased with our overnight stay. 」

「Absolutely loved our stay here for the 2024 eclipse! We were only here two nights, but wished we could have stayed for a month! 「The remote peacefulness of this location was amazing. Rustic isn't a valued word anymore. Wildly fun to sit on the patio of the cabin and just listen to nature and the rainfall, my gosh! We walked trails, played rounds of games in the gaming cabin. Swam and jumped off that pontoon a dozen or so times. The paddle boards were great too! We totally plan to go back and have already been making plans to see the Happy Farm family again!」

「While we were in the middle of nowhere, it was still great. We kind of expect middle of no where when we visit family in Wappapello! The house was absolutely adorable and they had everything there for us! We booked it for Christmas, and the day after it was booked the owner called to ask if we wanted a Christmas tree and decorations. I was stunned and absolutely thrilled. We definitely weren’t expecting to have decorations but it was wonderful! We definitely want to go back on our next visit!」

「We loved it here!!! There is a very nice swimming beach with a giant lake and boat ramp in walking distance; we went swimming and watched the eclipse!!!
