"Das Haus liegt sehr abgelegen am Ende einer schmalen, nur teilweise asphaltierten Straße. Es ist zwar geräumig und die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf Felder und Berge ist wirklich schön – aber das war’s dann auch fast schon. Die kleinen Sonnenschirme bieten kaum Schutz vor der starken Sommersonne.Direkt vor der Terrasse stehen Schafe, und mit ihnen kommen unzählige Fliegen. Diese gelangen zusammen mit Mücken und anderen Insekten ungehindert durch Türen und Fenster ins Haus. Frische Luft bedeutet...

"Très bon séjour pendant 2 semaines à Hendaye !Les photos ne donnent pas vraiment un aperçu de la réalité, au-delà de la décoration qu'on pourrait qualifier "dans son jus", la maison est très fonctionnelle et surtout très bien située, à 2 pas de la piscine et à 5 minutes en voiture de l'océan !Yasmina, qui gère la location, est très agréable et accueillante !Allez-y les yeux fermés !"

"The property lived up to its description apart from no sun loungers (not a problem for us). The surroundings were quite noisy with cocks and other birds starting early. Also workmen nearby and everyone mowing lawns and cutting hedges. Possibly just the time of the year. Provided this is not a problem for you, then I would highly recommend this property. Well positioned for visiting nearby towns - Bayonne was particularly intetesting. The garden was great for the dogs but walking from the house...

It's about 45-50 mins walk to the centre of Biarritz, but only 5 mins or so walk to the train station, from which multiple buses run to the town centre on a regular basis, so really easy to get around. We were delayed on arrival due to traffic, but Christine left the keys out for us and checked that we'd arrived, leaving a lovely welcome pack in the fridge, and helpful instructions for using all the appliances.
