「Staff is courteous, the room is nice and large and luxurious. The food is good and not too pricey. The ambience and location of the hotel on its private island/beechfront is excellent.」

「Really nice rooms / huts. Hot water. Very friendly staff. They’ve got two pools (one was under maintenance), a dive shop, laundry service, and massage service. The place is a bit more pricey in general, and the food is alright, but not great. The place is a bit remote, and could ideally offer some live music, yoga class, a better bar area with some music or something to bump it up quite a lot. A good experience in total. 」

「Very scenic view, good restaurant. But the location is very remote- there is nothing at all within walking distance. Also, there are MANY stairs and no elevator. We had to climb down 6 flights of stairs with our luggage just to check in.」

「The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. 」
