“My sisters and I stayed here as a base spot to head further up north to view the eclipse. This was an awsome little place! It was clean, not drafty and warm. The owner and staff were easily accessable when we had a question. Really enjoyed this place....it was reminiscent of our long since sold childhood Adirondack cottage! Would absolutely stay here again!”

“Glenda is a great host and provides nice extra touches such as amenities baskets with toothpaste, Tylenol, etc that are often forgotten when packing. She provided pool floats which we used in the river and the outside lighting has been upgraded which was perfect at night.”

“This was a 5-day, large family, vacation. There were a few minor issues, but nothing we couldn't overcome. We absolutely loved the location. There were a couple of days that we didn't even leave the property. The mosquitos were horribly, horribly bad! We went through a lot of insect spray and tiki torch fuel, but we were prepared for them. Thanks, Lisa”

“My husband, daughter, dog and I stayed at Pete's property for the Adirondack Balloon Festival and had a great time! The whole family, including Belle the dog, were super friendly and welcoming, chatting with us, showing us around the property and even hand delivered a half dozen fresh eggs from their chickens! The property is super fun-landing somewhere between a small farm and nature compound kind of feel. We were only there a couple days and spent the majority of the time out and about because……

“This was a wonderful stay in a great location. We came to ski at Gore and this house was a perfect location. Lovely newer house with plenty of room for our family of four. Loved OP Fredericks restaurant which me could see from the house!!”

“My boyfriend and I needed a quiet weekend away and this property did not disappoint. We fell in love with the rustic charm and the details of the decor. We honestly did not want to leave. The property owner left very detailed instructions and provided contact information. This was exactly what we needed. The price was decent considering you basically got a whole house to yourself. I have paid similar prices to stay in hotels but they all lack the charm that this property provided. We will……

“Much of the typical Lake George activities were closed since we visited during April, but we were very happy to stay here and will definitely return! It was the perfect space for us two (with extra to fit an additional friend or 2). Owner provided towels, pans, grill, coffee, etc for the stay which is greatly appreciated. It was close distance to anywhere we needed to go for groceries, activities, stores! Sad to go but I look forward to future travels here :)”
