“Lovely room and nice pub”

“Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. Issues with the shower once we entered the room, no one had checked that the shower was even working before giving us the room and they had to call plumbing. A damp smell in the room too. Told the hotel was full and couldn’t move to another room and had to go shower in another room. After we had left the hotel to attend an event were informed of another room (but the exhaust fans of kitchen can be loud) so they didn’t offer it to us at that time. Then while in……

“We enjoyed our stay at the Waterside Hotel. Parking in the basement was easy with lifts to all floors. The room was good, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only grumbles would be that it was difficult getting into the bath tub to have a shower and there was no fridge in the room.”

“I stayed at the hotel between the 11-13 of July. Very hot weekend. Price of the hotel included PARKING and air conditioning. When I arrived I found out there is only a fan with water in the room. I was told exactly where to park by the receptionist which never bothered to let me know I need to register the parking as if I should miraculously know. “Massive error: I booked there quickly without checking the reviews first, and found myself in the must disgusting place ever... The young lad that gave me the keys was ok, but the room smell the cigarettes which gave me headaches and the mould on the shower + dirty carpet + the window that's could not close + doggy smell in the entrance..... “Really nice greeting when we arrived, communication was great, as we were arriving later on in the evening. Room was clean and very quiet, so got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was continental and covered all the bases.”
