"Excellent service and exceptional customer service by staff! We went to celebrate my mums birthday and staff decorated the room, mum was surprised and very happy! We requested to have dinner for mums birthday and the staff decorated the dinning area for birthday celebrations! They truly went above and beyond to celebrate my mums birthday and also sang with us! We definitely recommend to everyone to go and enjoy the warm hospitality and amazing service of Tanoa rakiraki team has to offer. We are very grateful and definitely going back for a longer stay. 10 on 10 for everything! "

"If your looking for a private amazing Villa then look no further. Incredible views from both sides of the house with amazing clear, blue water snorkeling at your front door. If your happy to make your own food and cocktails then this place is much better than any resort. You will get to experience the true Fijian experience thanks to the traditional style of the villa and amazing friendly locals. Do your shopping at the local Rakiraki markets and be privately escorted by the wonderful Toka who will transfer you to the villa from the mainland. Very relaxing and incredible place to stay, highly recommend. 10/10!"

"This place is truly amazing, from the incredible views to the luxury villa, you will not regret staying here. Awesome private snorkeling just a short stroll to the bay. Short distance to Rakiraki markets to get all your supplies and meet the very friendly and helpful locals. Couple of restaurants close by make it convenient for lunch and dinner. If you want to get the true Fijian experience away from the packed resorts then I highly recommend staying here! Vinaka. "

"It’s rare to stay somewhere that has wide open views of sunrise and sunset. The large glass windows in this house and its location on the hill make it possible. The house has a lovely pool and the grounds are kept beautiful by a very nice care taker. There is AC in every room but not every room has curtains. There were 6 of us and we were comfortable. The few things I would comment on are 1- a few more kitchen appliances would be helpful. The oven is connected to an amperage that doesn’t make it hot enough to cook, so the stove top was what we used for everything. 2- more information about the water source would be helpful. I think the water was hard water and even boiling it, did not remove the mineral taste. The refrigerator has a filter but the flow is very low. So we used our own water filters and boiled and cooled the water and that worked fine. But it took a couple of experiments to get that right. Other than that the groundskeeper is always available and helpful and when one of the mini splits stopped working he brought in a knowledgeable electrician and fixed it. Overall a pretty special place to stay."

"This was a lovely discovery for us in Rakiraki area. Beautiful beachside location, friendly service. Looks like a great place to have a wedding, appears to have event facilities like a marquee on the beach. We were treated to a great dinner, complimentary boat ride and fish feeding. We're only there overnight. Wish we had stayed for three to enjoy at a leisurely pace. "

"The house has all the comforts of home and met our needs for our short stay. The road leading to the house is dicey, so it's highly recommended that you arrange transportation in a vehicle with good tires and high clearance because of all the dips and potholes on the dirt roads. Stock up on water and supplies ahead of your arrival at Bularangi. The owners are responsive and helpful with answering questions, and the caretaker- Kamlesh along with the maid- his sister Manju, were attentive to our needs throughout our stay. If you enjoy peace and quiet away from touristy areas, then you will love the tranquility of this beautiful piece of heaven off the beaten path. "

The dive operation is superb, the food service and food are outstanding, housekeeping is excellent, the service team is beyond warm and friendly -- the overall resort is beautifully comfortable. "
