“This cabin was such a perfect getaway home for us. We were very close to Glen Rose, it didn’t take long at all to get into town to do the activities. Property was very nice with lots of room for the kids to run around and play. They loved the swings and the daily visits from the dogs. We had never been to that area before, and it was a great experience. ”

“The rustic Hillside cabin is located a few miles off the beaten path, yet close enough to Glen Rose to easily drive to nearby attractions. Upon arrival, the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were kind and easy to communicate with. The setting is serene and peaceful. One thing to be aware of is that the cabin is a bit small - it is not spacious on the inside but there is plenty of room to explore outside. We had a lovely time.”

“Family wedding in area over the weekend. We had great time with property on River. Easy access for small river boat. Launched bass boat 11 minutes away at public ramp (all new!). Great house and all the amenities. I have not seen so many fire flies since I was a kid. We took our dog with us. So many small, personal touches that made the property a stand out!”

“We had 13 in our family group. There was plenty of room. It’s a lovely house to rent. My family enjoyed our trip and our stay at the house. We parked four vehicles back by the house. They fit, but you may have to do some car jockeying to get out. No big deal. I would stay again!”

We had a great time enjoying the outside deck while the kids explored the canals in the kayaks.The kitchen met all our needs from coffee time to late night snacking.The house is beautiful and was a relaxing escape from the big city rush.
