If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with great views and a cozy spot rain or shine, look no further. There are a few other cabins near by, but it still feels very secluded, there's not much close by so come prepared for your stay and just enjoy your little slice of heaven. “Had a wonderful and peaceful 12 day solo retreat. The cabin is cozy and pleasant. The kitchen is well appointed. The location can’t be beat, and I think the short trail and bridge to the riverbank is a plus, especially if you enjoy birds out back. The host was friendly and communicative.”

There is a little hill to get down but the wagon was helpful to carry items up/down. It was lovely hearing the sounds of the river and walking around the property. “Charming and comfortable cabin. It has everything you need. The kitchen is compact but well equipped (no oven but we didn't miss it one bit!) Located on the river, you can sit out on the screened in porch and listen to it or watch people go by on rafts, as we did. Plenty of activities nearby: white water rafting, hot springs, hiking trails, etc. The grounds are lovely and the flower beds are beautiful. We can't wait to go back!”

We live on the coast and my brother lives in bend so when we can get together we treasure it and this place was magical. “Loved the decor... the porch... the sunroom... the spacious feel for a small house... loved how well stocked it was... comfortable beds.... the welcoming touches. The river was across the highway, not on the property. Arrive in the daylight to manage the driveway for the first time. The cones and communication from the host were very helpful.”

“Everything was clean and well stocked with soaps, shampoos, cooking utensils, etc. The river is literally right outside the sliding doors off the deck. It was quiet and peaceful. “Everything is excellent, especially the outdoor experience. We enjoyed the fire pit and the convenient location to the warm springs (wild onsen nearby). The grocery store and gas station within minutes of drive. The only thing that could be better is the aged sofa bed. The metal frame in the middle made it difficult to sleep on. And we need to find the bedding in the storage. By the way, no much clearance around the toilet, still manageable. And if you enjoy outdoor hot tub, remember to book……
