We look forward to our next trip to Raleigh when the host has the chance to adress a few issues.i think it needs a more through cleaning. It would helpful if wall switches that control outlets were labeled. Also we never found kitchen towels. The front door lock was unreliable. The host only responded to me once with help for our issues. I think this is a new listing. We would love to stay there again as it was a great location and layout for our needs. . One final thought, consider using unscented detergent for laundry. . It really needs a deep cleaning

There were a few issues. The 1 queen room upstairs had a huge ball of hair. The mattress on my son's side had springs that stuck out, and they left a day before the rest of us. He tightened the table and chair that was loose and the back doorknob, that wasn't hard to do but should have been done by owner. The side door didn't have a light and was very dangerous especially at night. Not enough silver ware for even 6 people. The TV had to be moved to the left because outlet wasnt working. No TV in main bedroom downstairs.

The house was clean, plenty of bath towels, and the pool was clean. The owner was very prompt about getting back to me, when I had questions. We were not there a while lot but a very quiet neighborhood with comfortable beds to lay out heads for some good sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful and relaxing stay!

We booked this place for July 4th, 2025-July 6th, 2025:From the start, I had some concerns regarding the previous reviews and had brought those up via message. Lucia, the host, listened to what I said and assured me that everything would be taken care of. Well she did just that and more. Not only was she friendly, but exceeded our expectations with the improvements. The house is cozy and spacious. The property itself is big. We had enough room and more for all six of us. The pool was perfect for us and we had a great time using it especially with a little one with us. We absolutely loved having the covered deck and grill to us for our Fourth of July. It’s such a nice add on to chill.The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful which is what we wanted coming from Fayetteville. Getting to downtown and other places was very convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

B-Day family celebration

This is an amazing house! The backyard is huge. So if you have a big family and want space for activities, this is your place. I was just amazed at how much land this house is on. Not only a big backyard, but also a big front yard. Lucia is a great host and communicator and a text away. On of my family members happens to bring their dogs over. I had no idea. Once, I informed Lucia, she didn’t charge me per fee. Thought that, showed a lot about Lucia. Oh, the big back screened in, covered deck and grill! Huge space to sit and hang out. The pool is an extra amenity and the price was just right! Now for the location, it’s perfect. It is 5-10 minutes to anything. I mean, you are close to everything. If you are like my family and love to be around each other. Fill the fridge, bring outdoor games, and happy people. I’m sure you will have a good time. 20-25 minutes from the airport, Target, Walmart, shopping all close by. The neighborhood is quiet and very family oriented. There is a small park near by, morning or evening walks, very quiet and safe. They also, have cameras around the exterior of house, for safety. I will be back to stay at this cozy place again! Next time we may need two houses, as all the family couldn’t make it. Lol. See you guys soon!

This may be a *new* listing to VRBO, but this is NOT a new listing. The pictures of the property are old and make you think you're staying at a sparkling new rental. That couldn't be further from the truth. Nothing is the same as it is in the photos. I can understand a different couch - put the patio, decking and fence look as if it was just installed from the photos. Nothing is new. The cushions on the patio are in rough shape and are dirty! There was a hole in the kitchen ceiling from water damage, the fan in the master bathroom was caked in dust and didn't work, multiple light bulbs were missing from the fixtures, the kitchen backsplash was visibly dirty, dog nose prints were on the kitchen glass door, pump soap in the master bath had been watered down and sprayed everywhere when you used it. Had to hunt down face cloths and only had 2 pool towels for the 3 of us. The pool (again, not the one pictured) stairs were heavily rusted, its XL cardboard box and counterparts were left in the patio/decking area. The patio set pictured (black/woven) is now set up outside and 1 chair has a hole so large you can't sit in it. The metal fire pit is dilapidated and needs to be thrown away. No hangers to hang up your clothes or a bulb in the closet to see. Rayon/Polyester sheets that don't breathe. Master mattress is memory foam but it so old you just end up in a hole. Washer/Dryer worked but lint screen had inches of lint and there was pieces of dried rubber in both machines. Do better!

Disappointed

We were a reunion group of older women in town to spend time together. The owners are trying to make a nice property. The downstairs living space and kitchen were ok. The upstairs sleeping and bathroom areas were less inviting. Property is not clean enough for guests. Bedding is too old and used. It gives the impression of not being clean. There was actually blood on a spare pillow in the closet. The upstairs bath appeared clean but there were empty water bottles, trash and something stuffed up under the vanity. If weather allows, the back screen porch is lovely. Our check in was a nightmare! It took us an hour to obtain the information we needed to check in. According to email messages we kept receiving when trying to access the information it was a problem on the VRBO side. Could not access the owner in a timely manner due to going through VRBO and the issues on their end. Only option was to contact VRBO by phone but customer service was not allowed to give info over the phone, so we had to wait for email to come through. Would not recommend this property until deep cleaned.

Family Reunion

The cozy is very cozy. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The bathroom light in the Master bathroom, lamps and the closet light had short. We reached out to the host and they responded immediately. The cozy is located in a very nice quiet neighborhood. We felt safe enough to walk our puppy even during the evening hours. We would rent this home again.

Great Anniversary Trip

We stayed in the pool and the screen porch for most of our trip. The couch is very uncomfortable but the beds were fine. Overall, a GREAT stay!

So much potential if issues are addressed

The location, size, set up of this house was very good, but the following issues made our stay a bit challenging. There were many lights out in the house. We contacted the owner but got no relief and had to have our son bring us light bulbs to fix the issue. Lack of lamps in the bedrooms along with side table. One of the rooms, with the bed on the floor, had a standing lamp but no side table or lamp next to it. We had to bring a table from the porch to fix this issue. When we got there all the curtains were closed, and when we opened them every window was so dirty you couldn't see out of it. My husband and I spent over an hour washing the windows to we could open the curtains and enjoy the nice views. We saw and earlier review about cleaning so we actually brought our own supplies. There was no can opener of any type in the kitchen along with normal sized glasses, coffee cups, wine glasses. There were cappuccino cups, but they were not helpful. There was one lamp in the living room and burned out lights in the fan above, so we brought a bedroom lamp from the main bedroom to address this. The fans in the bedrooms didn't work. The beds need to be upgraded. The positive. The size of the house, the great screened in porch, the wood for the fire pit, plenty of laundry detergent, shampoo, soap (but only one hand towel in the whole house and no kitchen towels), plenty of bath towels, great fenced in yard. If the owners just address these reasonable things this house would be a home run.

Nice house but…

Overall, it’s a nice house, but it’s too dirty. Garbage in the backyard, dirty dishes in the cabinets and drawers, burned out lightbulbs, bathroom fans that don’t work… please fix the broken things and hire new cleaners!

Screened porch is amazing but some issues

First they were really great to work with as at one point my daughter thought we were locked out and they replied quickly and helped us out. My niece was graduating so we had some food and family and just was kind of hanging out and that porch was amazing especially when it rained and we could not be outside. The house is really cute and again having the porch and backyard is great! When we left my hubby forgot his last task so left all our ice and freezer things there and they were nice about us leaving stuff behind accidentally. Some of the issues we ran into with the biggest one for me is always how clean a place is. I cleaned baseboards around the kitchen, windows, the porch tables, bar stools , removed all the appliances on kitchen counter and place mats and cleaned the counters really good. Also in the laundry room tried to clean off a shelf to use. The little rugs they have are hair magnets (bedrooms and bathrooms) so you see other animals and people hair (probably best just not to have them and use towel type bath mats). Think the guest before us must have had some type of party where they used balloons and drank sunnyd as we had to pick up a lot so the 2 year old would not put those in his mouth - lots of those balloons and other bits of trash around the pool. We didn't use the pool but it is cute and probably great to cool off. Some bulbs burned out and I could not find light bulbs, could not find the ironing board, bathroom downstairs has a musty smell, a few things are behind the fridge (we dropped something and that is when we saw the other things. Bathroom fans don't work, no broom I could use (just the bottom of one), only 2 washcloths in the house. We made it work!

Good location

Great location as far as getting to town for shops and restaurants. Loved that we could bring our puppy and she enjoyed the huge backyard. Cute house and great communication with the owner.
