"We spent four nights in the amazing tree house overlooking the Belize River. The beautiful swinging Howler Monkeys were right outside the house only feet away. They can be noisy neighbors but the are so worth it! The hosts are amazing and do everything possible to make this a jungle home away from home. Their pool is fantastic. Relaxing to take a dip in the pool since it’s crocodile free, unlike the river in the other side of the house. Truly made memories that will last a lifetime. "

"The property was spacious. All necessities were there. We enjoyed our stay a would recommend it for a place to stay if Belize city needs to be not so far away. I would suggest following the directions to the property precisely. I didn't and had a difficult time finding it because of that reason. "

Paula was such a great host and responded quickly whenever we had a question. The rooms were comfy for our family of 3, she offered an extra bed and bassinet as well! (Below) Message from the host Good morning, we have to sincerely apologize. We have not been active on this platform and we are not in compliance with the requirements here."

"Be prepared to live out of your suitcase, no storage, very small casita. Lots of issues with hot water, due to being of grid. Long ways from San Pedro or secret beach so golf cart is a must. "

"The Lake View Condo is the perfect location. Being close to the airport and one of the main highways makes it a convenient location to explore Belize. The owners provide many amenities that make your stay comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying!"

"Exactly what we were looking for. Private, quiet, clean and unique. Close to all the activities we wanted but remote enough to experience the jungle. The night sky was amazing and we enjoyed the stars and lightning bugs from the pool at night. Host is wonderful and accommodating. I would recommend booking through hosts Website. "

Michelle was great at communicating and making arrival and leaving a piece of cake!! I highly extra highly recommend this place! You just have to experience to believe it. It more than lived up to the photos and had tons of amenities and extras!! "

"Absolutely LOVELY bungalow ... and LOVELY hosts! I can't say enough good things about this property -- it's an oasis! Wonderfully designed, meticulously detailed, truly an escape. Very secure, safe, and private. We only stayed one night -- a very convenient location near the Belize City airport -- but we would have been happy to stay much longer! I am certain that if/when I return to Belize, a stay at this bungalow will be included as part of the vacation! (We stayed 7 days in Hopkins Bay, not in Belize City ... so just needed 1 night at Gecko before flying out.) Thank you, Gecko, Michelle, and John! Can't wait to return ... "
