We really enjoyed our stay at this historic facility. It was comfortable and really cool. We also ate at the attached restaurant. All in all it was a great night on the old Bankhead Hey!

Enjoyed our overnight stay at the Lone Ranger Lodge. It was relaxing, beds were comfy, food at the restaurant next door was yummy and the pool was refreshing and clean. We were in for a college visit, and the older kids enjoyed the mini putt putt golf in front of the restaurant and the adults enjoyed a cold beer and nice pool. Everyone was very friendly; we will be back!

Ao glad we found a his place. It is perfect clean, the decor is so cute, property management was more than accommodating. There is also a burger joint connected to the place that has great food drinks ans live music. We will for sure be back.

The room was very good. AC was COLD and with 102 outside felt great. The beds are completely comfortable and head pillows were great. Size of the rooms is excellent and no road noise. We would recommend this to everyone. Ate dinner at their Gulf burger restaurant and the brisket tacos and burger was delicious. Very friendly staff.

These cabins have a lot of charm and warmth to them. Newly remodeled, next to the burger bar, and great relocation just off I-20. We caught live music by the pool on a Friday night - can’t get that for the price anywhere else!

We absolutely love this cabin. The golf burgers next-door food was amazing. Our daughter enjoyed swimming in the pool. It was a little too cold for us due to the rain, but she enjoyed it.

A small establishment, currently adding on new features and working to revive these old buildings. They are doing a great job! Convenient stay for visiting the new Palo Pinto State Park (it was way too hot for camping!). Highly recommend!

We had a great time!! Rooms were clean and cozy. Best burger I had ever eaten served at gulf burgers right there on the property. We will definitely be back.

Lone Star RV Park and Lodge was an excellent place to stay on our recent visit to Palo Pinto Mountains State Park. We stayed in one of the lodge cabins and loved the spaciousness and in-room access to a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The rooms were clean, comfy, and stocked with the necessities for our stay. The staff for the lodge and Gulf Burgers were super friendly and helpful, and we loved our time at the awesome outdoor pool, our burgers and brisket right on site, and listening to live music. Highly recommend this spot to others passing through or staying in the area for several days.

Stayed out here when we were turkey hunting. It’s a really cool place. The cabins are really nice, very clean, and bigger than I was expecting. There is a bar at the front that is a really cool atmosphere & the burger was really good. This will be where we stay from now on when we are in the area.
