“Beautiful place, nicely decorated”

“A very nice property and perfect for a weekend away from home. You can tell the owners take great care in making guests feel comfortable and welcome. Check in was SUPER easy and there are little touches throughout that made our stay very nice. We will definitely come back.”

“This is a happy little cottage near a small stream. The house was wonderfully clean, decorated in happy friendly colors and very comfortable. It is situated close to many attractions and a great spot for bicycling up to the Blue Ridge, or if you are not that ambitious, staying on the quiet roads in the bottom of the Shenandoah valley. A set of great porches for watching the sun rise or set really enhanced our stay. We were expecting a bit more of a creek, the canoe would be good for kids to play……

“We thoroughly enoyed our stay at "The Whitehouse." Everything was as described. Very peaceful with a perfect location for visiting Washington without the hassle of traffic and parking issues; taking the excellenct advice of our host we drove to the Vienna metro station and had a peaceful ride into D.C. Our host was very accommodating and let us park our 18 foot cargo tailer on site for our trip duration, others wanted to charge us $50 per day to park it. Also, the homemade banana bread was……

“I could not possibly have enjoyed my stay anymore! The views were beautiful and the hiking paths were astounding. My stay was during the time when the leaves were changing and falling. It was truly unbelievably beautiful! I visited the winery called Revelation in the Hebron Valley. The sunset was beautiful and the wine was delicious. The Blue Ridge Mountains were gorgeous and I also visited the Shanandoah river. I just couldn't get enough of the area and I can't wait to come back! Well done……

Mary and Jay were incredibly welcoming hosts who clearly love their animals, and are eager to share their experience with them if you are interested. Incredibly, almost all of the animals on their farm - cats, dogs, mini donkey, horses, and one of the alpacas - loved being petted. The location is beautiful, private, and peaceful. Grateful for their hospitality.”

“It’s my second VRBO so I had tons of questions before and during and Monique was patient, communicative and quick to respond. As a mom of two littles I appreciated arriving to a clean place that had plenty of room for us to stretch out. As another commenter mentioned there’s no oven but there’s plenty of kitchen equipment to hold you over. Thank you Monique for an amazing visit. We will absolutely be back.”
