Just what we wanted. A well maintained, clean resort with no kids. Having said that, there was always the option of going next door to The Rarotongan to use their facilities. The staff deserve a special mention. They were universally polite with a ready smile and happy to share a joke and quick chat. They made the holiday. This resort really merits a 5 star review.

Staff were really excellent, friendly, helpful. Nothing was too much much trouble for them. Breakfast was a very good variety and fresh. Bar provided a variety wines, beers and cocktails and there was Happy hour. Bar staff were excellent especially Aquila. Cleanliness of room was fine but the louvres in the bedroom and bottom of fly screen were mouldy.

All the Staff, the room, location and dining were all excellent. Access to the marine sanctuary was incredible and the kayaks and SUPS were well maintained. Will try to return in March or April next time.

Really enjoyed the property. On the lower floor you can hear the people above if they are not considerate eg scraping chairs, wearing heels - as the floor is tiled. But loved everything else about my stay. The helpful & friendly staff, the facilities, the snorkelling, the views👌

Stepping out of the room onto the beach was awesome. The room was very comfortable but just a tiny bit dated - still everything was clean and working. The best thing about the place though was the attitude of the staff - they were so welcoming, helpful and personable. They couldn't have been better!

We stayed at 3 locations during our 2 week trip and Sanctuary Rarotongan was by far the best😊 The room, location, staff and daily activities were amazing. We are planning a return trip to Rarotonga next year and will be booking here again no questions asked. All staff were beautiful but a special shout out to Sake at the bar. Ron at reception and Va in the restaurant they made our stay memorable

We thoroughly enjoyed this resort. The rooms were clean and had had a cool Polynesian vibe to it. The breakfast every morning was so good. Best of all were the staff. Each and every person was beyond friendly and kind. Big shout out to our server Jayesh. He was so awesome!

Rooms were clean and tidy. We did get some bad news that the rooms had been overbooked so we didnt have the room we wanted for the whole time, however the staff were very helpful when we had to change rooms. Great coffees in the morning too!
