The town of Labin is a perfect place for art and history lovers, and the other town is known for its beautiful beaches and excellent gastronomy. If you want to explore the wider region of Istria, you can plan trips by car to Pula and Rovinj, two ancient Roman towns on the coast. Both are about an hour's drive away and you can spend the whole day exploring each, as they are full of famous historical sights, such as the Arena in Pula or the Church of St Euphemia in Rovinj.
