About 2.5 miles into this 12 mike hike along a creek that leads up to a lake with a look out on mountains! Be careful for when the river is high because it will cut you off so that you can’t continue the path forwards! Moderate hike wth some difficulty!
The road on the way to the Bear Creek Trailhead offers this stunning view of the Bitterroot Mountains. Took my breath away. If it hadn't been a rainy day, I would've loved to explore those trails more. I can't wait to return.
