The property is ideally located in Ravenna with a great staff. But it is a bit worn and is overdue for an upgrade/update inside and out. Rooms are a good size so when upgrade is done- property would be stellar.

We returned here after an absence of a year and a half. Much proved the same: the hotel is situated in the centre of Ravenna, so all touristic attractions are well within walking distance. Parking facilities have deteriorated, however. It is no longe possible to park in fromt of the hotel using am hotel sign; rather, one has to park in a side street, where one has to pay from 8.00 h. onwards. This is inconvenient to say the least, as there were not many places unoccupied.

Brilliant position!
NH Ravenna is a short walk from both the station and the town centre, so it’s position is perfect. The hotel is large and modern with every facility you would expect. Check-in was speedy and efficient, our room was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the modern, well equipped bathroom was a delight! Breakfast featured everything you would want and the staff were charming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing! Clean property with good housekeeping service. But, very poor wifi service, no bar or restaurant for the duration. For a 4* (supposedly) property these are too basic to overlook. Not worth the money.

Location!Location!Easy walk 5-10minute from train station,cruise shuttle stop is across the street from hotel on park side(signage is posted) and 10minute walk into old town (Piazza Popolo)with lots of restaurants,pizzerias and paticceries along the way!

Great surprise!
NH Ravenna was a wonderful surprise. It is conveniently located close to the train and easy walking distance to any of the major sites in the town. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable. Definitely a place we will return to.

We chose this hotel over others as, having stayed in many NH hotels in other European countries, we trusted the quality of the brand. Sadly, we wished we had trusted the reviews instead as it was an expensive disappointment. Based on the advertised photos, we booked a superior room for the extra space and ended up in a fairly small, hot (aircon was not working) room where the only small window faced the fire scape and the window of the room next door (to which we also had an unsettling connecting door). We were told by reception they had no other superior rooms and only a junior suite was available if we were willing to pay a nightly surcharge. The suite at least had a large window facing the front so was much brighter, had room for our luggage and the aircon worked so we paid it as it was the easiest option by that point. But both rooms were very dated, had peeling wallpaper and cheap wood panelling all over and musty furniture. Absolutely shocking in both a supposedly four star hotel and one part of the NH group. Breakfast was the only good thing but not enough to make up for the many other shortcomings so not a place we would stay at again.

Amazing place
The staff was amazing, helpful, friendly, spoke English very well. They were able to help us find pretty much anything we needed and able to direct us to pretty much anything in Venice.

The hotel was all about a good clean place to stay, but the location was excellent. You are walking distance to the local attractions, shopping and restaurants. It was a pick-up location for transportation to the Port for a cruise. While we did not use the train or busses, the station was nearby. Location, location, location!

Da ich nicht da sein konnte und das meiste schon geschrieben wurde kann ich nicht mer dazu sagen ausser, dass ich mit der Abwicklung dieser Buchung ( falsches Datum Anreise 20.7. statt 19.7. mein Tippfehler ) nach erhalt der Buchungsbestätigung nicht mehr korrigierbar. Also was soll die Frage nochmals das Hotel hat mein Vorkasse, mein Mobilanbieter 50.- sfr. Roming Gebühren für ein Telefonat mit ebookers und selbstverständlich die Kosten für ein neues Hotel auf das richtige Datum. Alles in allem eine kostspielige Erfahrung.
