"Loved our getaway. The hotel was very clean. The staff was so friendly. The only thing that would have made it better is if the pool had been opened. The owner did explain they are having to find a new cleaning company for it. Will definitely be back!"

"the property was nice and the staff was very helpful and super sweet. The young lady when we checked in helped me find a Mexican restaurant to order our dinner from and made a few other suggestions for us while we stayed. The Breakfast Lady which I am sorry to say I did not get her name was so sweet she made sure that we had enough to eat and that we were going be in for breakfast before we left the next morning."

"The house was amazing pictures don’t do it justice decorated beautifully, every room looks like it could be in a magazine. The large open living room and kitchen area is great for a group and having the second living room for teens that want to get a little privacy worked out perfect. Would definitely rent again great location as well."

"We came here for a small family trip and for some fishing in Sam Rayburn. This is my second time staying here, and I still love this cottage and the access to the lake. The love bugs were horrible, but that’s uncontrollable, and the host was very open and honest about that before we arrived. We will definitely stay here again."

"The house was clean and well stocked. It did offer sleeping for 20. The places to gather with that many would be the outside porch or AC garage. Just be aware it is a hike to the lake. The trail through the woods was washed out in places. If you have elderly people or small children it is quite a trip. Nice and clean overall but the lake is not visible from the property."

"My family came and stayed for a couple of days. We could not have been more pleased. The backyard goes right to the edge of the water. It's a deep water cove, which is helpful for pulling the boat to shore. We had no problem with that. It was also a great cove to bring the kids tubing in as it was sheltered from the wind. The hosts could not have been more pleasant. Terry and Nanette went out of their way to help without hesitation. Terry brought me to the boat ramp to unload and load my boat back up, which was helpful since I was the only adult with two young kids. We very much appreciate their hospitality and look forward to coming back."
