“We loved our stay. Peaceful location beautiful old home. The hosts, Tim and Mary, live next door and were so amazing. The house was well stocked, beds were comfy. We loved hanging by the fire and watching the horse and buggies. We were worried about the lack of WiFi but were able to use our hotspot successfully, they also get the local channels on the TV. We plan to go back! Thank you Tim and Mary for being so wonderful and sharing your beautiful home!”

“Our family had a wonderful at this beautiful log cabin. Very cozy and quiet. We had three children with us and they enjoyed the large front yard and playhouse. The real hit for them was the hot tub! Our host Cory was great. We appreciated his responsiveness and flexibility. I would highly recommend this cabin.”

“The cabin is clean, spacious and well-stocked with kitchen, bath and bedroom amenities. We enjoyed nearby hiking and brewery, s'mores at the fire pit, and movies in the cozy family room. We would definitely stay there again!”

“This place is great! Easy check in and check out process. Fish rising to bugs right in the yard. I literally pulled in and within a couple of minutes I was hooked up on a fish. And while nothing is very close out that way, the house is close enough to some good eating and more importantly great fishing. It was the perfect setup for a small group of anglers that spend a few days fishing the central pa region.”

“Sandstone Sanctuary is THE place for both relaxation and rejuvenation! My partner and I were guests there for four days and three nights, and our stay did not disappoint. “It was a little hard to find at first but was a very peaceful setting with apartment over the garage. The beds were super comfortable and the furniture was very nice. Enjoyed our stay it was close enough to everything but far enough that it was relaxing. It was very reasonable priced was happy with the stay.”

“We stayed at this cabin to do an electric bike ride and it was perfect. We rode bikes during the day on the nearby bike trails and went back to the cabin at night. Nice kitchen fireplace comfortable beds. It was a terrific trip in a great old timey cabin that has serious modern upgrades!!”

“We rented the home for several family members that were attending a college graduation. Property was clean, quiet, and we enjoyed lots of room. The enclosed sun room was our favorite every morning to enjoy coffee and chats with anyone that was up early. Kitchen was large and lots of room to cook and move around, along with places to eat too. Barns and property to walk around was fun to explore - careful of ticks and we saw a rabbit and hedgehog too. Highly recommend this place if you need the……

“Schrader run did not disappoint! The space and property were just amazing and we could not have asked for anyhting more. The description was more than accurate. The kitchen was fully stocked and the house was bigger than we thought. Good times, Good friends, GREAT place!”

“This place was just comfortable from the beginning. We had to contact the owners once and they responded within minutes. They were great. We had an amazing time hanging out by the fire pit, walking the trails and just reading by the water. Had everything you needed just bring clothes and food. We will hopefully be able to make it back some day.”
