Pricewise it was the best option in the area. (So it seemed until the upcharges). I stayed 2 nights with two teen children. I received the following upcharges:
$100 extra person fee (the room had 2 queens and accommodates 4 so I’m not understanding this)
$25 per night resort fee-this was to use the pool and pool towels and we also received 2 Poland Spring water bottles day 1 only. I feel this should have been included in the nightly rate as it was not optional.
$75 per night valet parking ($90 weekend!) with no self park option other than inconvenient on street metered parking.
Walls were SUPER THIN. Could hear actual conversations in the next room. TV was not a smart TV so could not cast our streaming services, not a big deal for us but maybe for others.
Room was very clean, common areas clean, cute shops in the lobby. Felt very safe. LOVELY STAFF.
Directly across the street from beach which was ideal. Pool area was lovely. Music playing and food and drinks available. Coffee shop in house was a plus.
Overall would stay again but take the other charges into account while comparing to other hotels in the area.
