We reserved a room with 3 beds, entering the room the bathroom was flooded. Went to reception, they offered to put me in a room with 2queens and wanted to charge me for another room with one bed. She then said there was another room with 3 beds but the heater/AC wasnt working. We took it and the heater did work. I think they just wanted me to pay for another room as she made comments saying that i already paid a very low price through expedia. She was upset i reserved through expedia. Never staying there again! Also there was dry blood on pillow cases, the room smelled like smoke, and the sink in bathroom was leaking.

Awful. Check in took forever. I was asked to "go look at the room" before checking in. On first glance, the property is outdated and as expected for the price. I returned to check in and said it was fine. I never signed any paperwork checking in, they could not get their machines to work and after waiting around for almost 30 minutes they said that's fine, I could go. Getting into room I used the restroom to discover the toilet doesn't flush. I attempted to lock the door and the door jam was situated in a way that prevented the dead bolt from locking. Sketch much? Big red flag. After taking off my shoes, discover the floor in the room is wet, gross. After 20 minutes it turns from an outdated room into an unclean, malfunctioning and unsafe property to stay in. I packed myself and my family up immediately and we found somewhere else to stay for the night. I did not check out with the property as I never signed anything officially to check in (should have been my first red flag) and when I contacted Expedia to refund my trip that I purchased trip protection for they did nothing! Awful, terrible.

I got there with my family after I already paid for the room and they did not take the expedia reservation, I had to pay again. Rooms didn't have shower towels, pillows, soap and no toilet paper. It was really bad.

Holes in the walls, dead cockroach in the bathroom, crack in the mirror, dirty/dusty. Felt like I couldn’t sleep under the covers. People are loud, but the only somewhat okay thing is the staff they were very nice.

I found someone elses hair on the bathroom floor. The room is really dark. The wall are very dirty, had only 2 towels and the shower nobbs leaked a constant drip when on. The pool was so dirty my kids didnt wven want to get in it.

It was so bad we left. We spent the money we had on this room, it was 110° out that day we got checked into our room and the air conditioner was broken and the front of it was hanging halfway off. The fridge was broken pulled out from the wall and had a puddle of brown water in the bottom and the carpet was wet, I couldn’t get the TV to turn on and while I was trying to turn it on I felt the cable box and it was burning hot even though it wasn’t on seems very unsafe. We went to the front desk and asked if we could get a different room. We could overlook some things but not no air conditioning when it’s 110°. The lady said they’re full even though there was barely any cars in the parking lot. I had my eight-year-old son with me and I was not gonna make him stay in this hot room. I contacted Hotels.com they tried to call her and she wouldn’t answer the phone thank goodness hotels.com has such great customer service they sent me a voucher so that we can go somewhere else to get a room. I will never stay here again. I had stayed here a couple times before and it was rundown but the people were nice and It was affordable. But after this time, never again.

Drove all evening 4:30-5 hours just to get there and someone in corporate canceled my reservation so spent an extra 1/2 hour fighting that, got to the room and was completely disappointed stunk like old sweat and cigarettes, AC didn’t work woke at 3:00 am and left.

Filthy, that’s how I would describe it. I don’t ask a lot when I stop by at a motel but, at least I want to be able to sleep without thinking I al going to be eaten alive by some bugs. They were all over the room and even in bed. Room smelled like cigarettes. I slept there because it was late and I was so tired but as soon as I woke up I left from that disgusting place. The owners seemed nice but this is not an excuse to have a place in this conditions.

There was no COLD water in the room … only hot water came out of both sink and shower. Room was not cleaned very well. A stained towel was in the bathroom. The clerk was not responsive.

It was the filthiest motel i have ever seen i was a an interstate heavy hauler and stayed in motels 300 days a year for30 yrs and never seen the like. There is lice moving under the painted bathroom vanity.i could go on but i sure you get the gist. Americas Best franchise should be ashamed.

Fun weekend away
Was a good stay for the money. Pool was nice, AC worked great, ice machine seemed clean and functioning, good assortment of tv channels, fridge/freezer worked, and management was friendly. A couple negatives but nothing that would keep me from returning. Shower hot water leaked which made me have to clean up water mess after showers. Not enough towels for the weekend to shower and swim.

A comfy place to stay.
I enjoyed my stay and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I'd recently stayed at motel 6 a few times here in town, and it was noisy and drab with small rooms. America's best value inn in Red Bluff was roomy and far more homey. While the hotel is starting to show its age, I like the nostalgia in the original metal work and the grass and bbq areas around the pool. Decently priced, i really enjoyed my stay here.

We knew we'd be having a very late arrival (1am). The guy working the front desk wasted absolutely no time getting us checked in. We were in our room within 10 minutes of arriving at the property. This was fantastic service, as so many places will make you wait and take their time even late at night.
