“We looked for a moderately priced hotel outside Monaco and found this Ibis property (Ibis is a moderately priced chain). It was a good choice. Parking difficult to find in Menton but we found a space on the street just across from the hotel. We walked down to the Mediterranean in Menton, walked up the old stairs to the cathedral of the Archangel Michael with a beautiful view of the bay, and had a lovely great-priced seafood dinner at Les Enfants Terribles which is nothing like its name "The……

“Good location towards the train station, city centre and the venue of Lemon festival. 20 minutes walk from old town. It is good to go by train. The Tourist Office is next door, so you can get help and buy tickets easily. The hotel is a 3 star hotel (with no restaurant of its own, so eat your breakfast somewhere else). The staff can provide some excellent advise on where to find good restaurants in the area. Don't miss the Lemon tart there.”

Außerdem verfügt das Hotel entgegen den meisten bezahlbaren Hotels an der Côte d’Azur über einen wunderschönen Pool. Der Poolbereich und das Angebot an Liegen ist eher klein, aber es herrscht auch eine hohe Fluktuation, so dass man mit etwas Geduld stets eine Liege findet. “The staff of the accommodation was super friendly and helpful! Whenever I had a question or request the staff helped me right away and always with kindness. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. The pagio overlooking the harbor was very nice as well. I felt very comfortable during my stay. The location of the apartment was also excellent!
