“ Very Small town”

“Small little cabin but pretty much everything you need . Quite neighborhood and even though the store was closed while we we were there due to the manager being sick all the other onsite staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely enjoyed our stay.”

“The cottage was really cute. I would have rated the property 5 star except for a couple of issues that made it not a great value. The property seemed to have just opened for the season, so maybe that's why it wasn't ready for prime time. 1) the kitchen area is not really a kitchen and isn't well stocked. There is only a very small toaster oven and a microwave. There is a gas grill with a burner which could be used for cooking. There are some plates, a couple of bowls, only 2 forks, no serving……

“We had a wonderful stay at Strawhouse Resort. The property is beautiful, with the cafe and patio along the river. Good pizza and coffee roasted on site. Amazing hospitality from Don, Julia and all the Strawhouse team. We stayed in the yurt. What a fun experience. It was cozy and well appointed. This area along the Trinity River is so beautiful. ”

“Really enjoyed this home. Three bedrooms and 3 baths, so everyone had their own space, which was nice. The home was clean, and it had a nice deck with bird and hummingbird feeders which we enjoyed. Our favorite part of the trip was watching the resident squirrel regularly pilfering seed from the 'squirrel proof' feeder. :) Fully stocked kitchen, so it was nice to be able to cook food rather than depending on fast food. Town and grocery were a quick ten minute drive away. Quiet……

“We enjoyed our stay. The outside area wasn’t cleaned prior to us arriving so there was a lot of debris all over the decks, tables ,chairs and in the pool. There are alot of trees so it’s a given that debri is expected. Over all we had a great vacation and it was so quiet and peaceful. Colleen was very responsive and helpful when I need to contact her.”

“This property is magical. The pool surrounded by mountain and ranch scenery can not be beat. Fruit trees! The kitchen has everything, the bedrooms are all adorable. Plenty of space. Had the best Bachelorette party.”
