It’s a unique and great place. Super central, easy to find a park and very close to both the shopping area and the archaeological museum. It also includes breakfast at a local venue which has great quality. The only thing I wish they had clear explanation for the AC because the panel is very modern and hard to find the on/off switch! If we were to go back we would stay there again!

Vi blev glatt överraskade av detta boende i ett bedårande nyrenoverat palazzo, mitt i centrala Reggio di Calabria, med närhet till stranden, shopping, restauranger och sevärdheter. Incheckningen gick smidigt och personalen var väldigt trevliga. Vi kommer rekommendera detta boende till vänner och bekanta, vi kommer definitivt också boka BnB Poseidon nästa gång vi åker hit.

It is not a room you rent, it is a Palazzo im the middle of the City. You are thrown back by centuries looking to entrance, room and furniture. The living roooom is amazing

The property is set in the heart of the shopping district of Reggio Calabria 5 minutes walk from the beach, in a historical building that can only be described as absolutely stunning. The building is palatial internally and externally with many original features immaculately maintained, with large wooden doors, marble floors and a gorgeous stairway leading from the courtyard to the rooms. There is a large lounge/drawing room where guests can relax with coffee or wine which are available which takes you back to a more classical age complete with classical furnishings, tables and chairs. The actual guest room?we stayed in was beautiful with high ceilings and tastefully decorated containing both classical features as well as all modern conveniences including wardrobes, a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, WIFI and a TV offering Netflix, Prime etc. The bathroom was compact and beautifully presented with fantastic towels, a bidet, a great shower and free standing sink complete with marbled floors and walls. The beautiful host Clara went above and beyond in her attentiveness to our needs in every way and no request was turned down. She was available at all times and responded immediately to any questions including the provision of a taxi if needed. This will in future be my go to whenever I come to Reggio Calabria - for the value and experience there is nothing better.
