Reno`s Rustic Hideaway is not a place you simply stay, it is a place you experience. Three completely distinct immersive experiences under one roof, four king beds, three bathrooms, two fully equipped kitchens, two living rooms, and a private backyard that has to be seen to be believed. Whether you are traveling as a family, a friend group, or a group of professionals this property was built to give everyone exactly what they came for.

Through the coded door on the right the first immersive experience awaits, the Indigo Keep. A fully self contained Game of Thrones themed wing with its own king bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and laundry. Cross the threshold of the custom hand painted Indigo Keep crest and the armory hallway pulls you immediately into the realm, custom hand built lighted weapon displays, a signed Daenerys Targaryen print, and House banners lining your path. In the kitchen your designated chef cooks a meal worthy of the Seven Kingdoms while the open concept keeps everyone connected to the conversation or the show playing in the next room. When the meal is ready it gets slid across the live edge Indigo Blue Epoxy River Bar Top to the guests seated like royalty on the other side. Retire to the sectional in front of the 65 inch Roku TV with the Winter Is Coming weapon display coffee table holding court before you. The dragon scale shower with a tankless water heater serving the entire house ensures nobody`s shower ever runs cold. Every detail in this wing was designed, built, and curated by hand to deliver a truly immersive experience that Game of Thrones fans and fantasy lovers will never forget.

Upstairs the second immersive experience unfolds across three king bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped gourmet chefs kitchen anchored by a professional grade 6 burner Viking gas range and a living room with a 75 inch Roku TV. The Sierra Nevada wilderness comes alive in every room, a floor to ceiling black bear forest scene wraps one bedroom in wild beauty, a soaring bald eagle scene dominates another wall entirely, and in the most talked about room in the house a wolf howls at a custom hand crafted moon light that glows and dims to bring the entire scene to life after dark.

Step outside into the fully fenced backyard and the third immersive experience takes over. A dual pump hydrotherapy hot tub steams under Edison string lights. A gas fire pit crackles at the center of an Adirondack seating circle. And on the retaining wall a hand painted mural, designed and painted entirely by your host, features a branded cowboy silhouette that was built for one reason. To end up on your social feed. Self-Check-in is provided using a unique personalized key code to the front door for each guest. To ensure privacy and security, each room is equipped with a lock.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be respectful of neighbors by keeping noise low, especially outdoors. No parties or events are allowed.

I kindly ask that only guests who have booked the accommodation are allowed to enter the house. However, if you wish to have additional guests to visit or stay, please seek the host`s approval, which may incur an extra fee. If you require a late checkout, you may do so until 12:00PM for a pre-authorized fee of $50 on approval. To take advantage of this, kindly notify Host by 8pm the day before your scheduled checkout. A last-minute late checkout fee of $100 applies if requested on the day of checkout to reschedule cleaners.

If you need an early check-in, I can arrange it for a fee of $50, subject to availability of cleaning schedule.

Please note that guests do not have access to any locked rooms, closets or the garage. We hope you have a wonderful stay and make unforgettable memories!

Host does not live on the property but visits often when not occupied by a guest.

Host will answer questions about the area or property via OTA messaging (available via phone or text only for emergencies)

Cameras for security: There are two exterior cameras in the front yard facing the street and driveway that record motion to verify guest check-ins. In the backyard, there`s one camera facing the exterior door, which also records motion. If there`s suspicion that any rules have been violated, video recordings will be reviewed.

Host can suggest places to go or things to do, just let me know what your interests are and more about yourself. I have lived in the area for over 50 years.

You can conveniently park your cars on the 2 spots in the driveway, and additional street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have an RV, there`s ample space for it in the street parking in front of the house when available.

Convenient Access:

Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO): Only an 8-minute drive away, making your arrival and departure hassle-free.

Highway Access: The highway is just a few turns away, allowing for easy exploration of the surrounding areas.

Public Transportation: The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) provides bus service throughout the city, including the neighborhood. The buses run frequently and are a convenient option for getting around.

Car rental: There are several car rental agencies located in the area, which is ideal for those who prefer the flexibility and convenience of having their own vehicle.


Bicycling: The neighborhood is also bike-friendly, with bike lanes and trails throughout the area. This is a great option for those who enjoy the outdoors and would like to explore the area at their own pace. Place bicycles behind the fence on the side of the house please.

Walking: There are plenty of sidewalks and well-lit streets, making it a safe and pleasant option for getting around. Dowtown Reno is about 30 min. walk from home.

No matter how you choose to get around, you will find that the neighborhood is easy to navigate and offers plenty of options for getting to your destination.

Here are some important details to keep in mind:

During the winter months (Nov-Apr), it is recommended to have 4-wheel drive vehicle or chains on your front wheel drive vehicles, and be aware that mountain passes may be closed during heavy snow or rainstorms. Be sure to check weather advisories before booking, if necessary.

For your safety, the front and backyard are monitored, and motion recorded by security cameras.

Check with us to register children. there are some hazards in and outside the house that need adult supervision at all times, including but not limited to Stairs, fireplaces, cleaning supplies, hot tub, fire pit, etc.

LATE CHECK-IN is the Guest`s responsibility. The host may not be available after 9pm for service.
I offer a flexible self-check-in process after 3pm on your check in day. It is your responsibility to update the host with your estimated arrival time and inquire about the check-in process after 9pm. The host is not required to be available as a 24-hour concierge. We will not award a full refund for guest`s failure to follow instructions.

We have and always will be vigilant with our cleanings to make sure all surfaces are sanitized.

The cleaning fee covers bedding changes, sanitizing commonly touched surfaces, and minimal cleaning to restore the listing to its description.

We are not responsible for guests belongings. If we find belongings are left behind, we will hold them for 2 weeks prior to disposal, unless food or drink items, dispose of immediately as discovered.


Mid-Term Guest Policy:

For stays of 28 days or longer, the following requirements must be completed prior to check-in:

📌 Background Check: Required for each person staying, at a cost of $50 per person.
📌 Signed Lease Agreement: Must be completed and on file for all guests.
📌 Host Approval: Guests must pass the background and credit check requirements set by the host.

📌 Starter Supplies: Starter supplies such as coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, toiletries, and similar essentials are provided for the initial stay only. These items will not be replenished during long-term stays, and guests will be responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed after the starter supply runs out.

These measures are mandatory and help ensure a secure, clear, and seamless experience everyone concerned.
