「It was a wonderful experience to return to Albany and to stay in a lovely, immaculate, well-maintained, spacious townhouse. Our host Earl saw to it that all our needs were met or exceeded. We enjoyed our family Christmas celebration. We went out for dinner on our first night and found excellent dining within five blocks of our accommodations. The next morning we found moldy food in the microwave that had to have been there for weeks. No toilet paper. 「There was no comforter or quilt on the king sized bed. Only 2 sheets. I didn’t sleep comfortably because of it. The bed frame with white upholstery was dingy with stains and crusted who-knows-what (bloody booger?) There were no hand towels in the bathrooms or a place to hang them except for the hook behind the door. The host did not check in with us during our stay. 「I stayed while working at Albany Medical Center, and it was a perfect location for this! I could walk to the hospital, shops and restaurants. The apartment was cute, quiet and very clean. It was a great place to come home to after a busy day. Michaela, the host, was very helpful and responsive -- checking in on my stay. I appreciated the available washer and dryer. I will definitely stay at this apartment again if I am in Albany.」

「Host listed street parking only, however there was no street parking. It’s also in a rough part of town and I wasn’t going to make my family, baby, and dog trek multiple blocks. We had to make other accommodations and VRBO would not reimburse. Avoid property if possible.」
