「I’ve never stayed in a hotel so dirty the first room we got the bathroom smelled like urine. There was urine all over the toilet. We went to the front desk and asked for a different room. It was somewhat clean. The room still smelled like urine. I was highly disappointed after the reviews that were received from this place. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was OK.」

「This was our second stay at this property and we were thoroughly happy once again. Since our first stay in September, the owners have installed a fireplace and built a beautiful wooden mantle around it. It was warm and cozy during some very cold evenings. I even used the full kitchen to cook a thanksgiving dinner! This is my go to property every time I visit my son at GMC. 」

「Tom was super great to communicate with in the location of this duplex is super cool. So much to see in the area with a short drive or walking around the asylum property. A beautiful field filled with pecan trees around the properties as well. The unit was updated, but still a little bit more needs to be done. Still a great experience overall though. 」

「The building itself is older and needs some touching up. However the room was very clean, with new bedding, a very comfortable couch, a brran new tv with over 200 channels. For the price, you can not beat this hotel.」
