We stayed as a family of 5 from England in July - so out of season for this ski resort. That meant the hotel wasn’t overcrowded and was very comfortable. The bedroom was comfortable and spacious. Every room in the hotel has a view of the mountains and a balcony . The swimming pool and spa area was very good - the outdoor jacuzzi offers a mountain view. Soft drinks and tea / coffee are available at any time free of charge. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is a buffet service and breakfast is included in the room rate. Overall, I would recommend staying here with a family. I’d also recommend visiting the restaurant a short walk up the hill - sorry, I don’t have the name, but the lunch there was delicious.

Two night stay with family and dog

Amazing stay. Friendly staff. Hotel with great pool, outdoor warm bath tube and spa. Very good breakfast with a lot of food. Free coffee & non alcoholic beverages during the stay. Great choice for hikers.

The hotel is old and not very friendly to Americans at least the day I was there. No place to eat, so they charge for dinner buffet and when asked if anything else around I was told by the staff that there is one but you need a reservation. They get you for it is in the middle of no where and we arrived late and did not want to drive 30 minutes for dinner when they were possibly closed. I would find something else if I had to do it again.

Absolutely wonderful mountain hotel! A little off the beaten path, so you’ll do best with your own car. The location was picturesque, the food and service excellent, and the room was amazing at a great value! Beautiful outdoor hot tub overlooking the mountainside. My only word of caution is the reception desk has limited hours (doesn’t open till 0800) so plan accordingly if you want to check out earlier. Also, breakfast opens at 0730 so there is no coffee available before that time. Very drivable distance to and from Neuschwanstein Castle. I highly recommend it to any traveler looking for a quiet paradise in the Austrian Alps.

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir hätten auch am Abreisetag noch den ganzen Tag den Wellnessbereich nutzen können, was ein sehr großzügiges Angebot ist. Lediglich das Frühstücksbuffet könnte noch etwas mehr bieten. Ansonsten alles top!!

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen dennoch hat es einen gewissen authentischen Charme. Viel Holz und passendes Ambiente zur Umgebung. Leider stehen viele Bereiche leer und sind ungenutzt. Die Bowling Bahn ist einen Besuch wert aber auch hier ist der Raum wenig einladend und alles wirkt verlassen und/oder ist ausgeräumt. Am ersten Tag nach unserer Ankunft gab es auch keinen Zimmerservice. Die Reinigung der Zimmer erfolgt erst ab der zweiten Übernachtung! Auf Nachfrage wurde bestätigt, dass dies im Haus so gehandhabt werde. Richtig enttäuschend ist das Essen. Beim Frühstücksbuffett gibt es nur Basics. Nicht einmal ein Spiegelei konnte auf Nachfrage zubereitet werden. Ebenfalls gibt es kein frisches Obst sondern nur einen Obstsalat aus der Dose. Richtig schlimm ist das Abendbuffet, welches 40€ pro Person kostet. Dafür bekommt man dann verkochte Nudeln und trockenen Fisch bzw Fleisch, das bestimmt schon Stunden zuvor zubereitet wurde. Nachtisch ist Eis vom Discounter und das Schokoladentiramisu war 1,5h vor Buffetende aus und wurde auch nicht mehr nachgefüllt. Insgesamt drängt sich der Eindruck auf, dass hier nicht wirklich gerne bzw überhaupt gekocht wird. Insgesamt schlummert in dem Haus ein riesiges Potential, das leider nicht mal ansatzweise ausgeschöpft wird. Das einzige was wirklich Premium ist sind die Preise die hierfür aufgerufen werden. Wir kommen erst wieder, wenn das Hotel Preis und Leistung in Einklang bringt und eine Küche bietet die den Namen auch verdient

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Berghotel und können wieder nur sagen, dass dieses Hotel absolut empfehlenswert ist. Das Personal ist super freundlich, das gesamte Hotel sehr sauber und das Essen hervorragend ! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und sagen "Danke" für den rundum schönen Aufenthalt.

Hyggelig sted med noen forbedringspotensiale

Fint stort hotell. God frokost. Hyggelig betjening. Vi bodde der bare 1 natt men kunne ønsket oss at rommene var utstyrt med strykejern og et lite kjøleskap, noen glass etc. Da alle fasiliteter på hotellet stenger kl. 21 og man blir sittende litt på rommet på kvelden.

Wir waren 2 Nächte hier. Das Personal war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war ganz okay. Die Matratzen waren eine Katastrophe, viel zu weich und durchgelegen. Das Spielplatz muss dringend gerichtet werden.... oder ist das Motto vom Hotel auf dem Spielplatz: no risk, no fun
